Stunning lake house with beautiful views!
We loved our stay at Silver Lake! The house is immaculate with a beautiful interior and exterior. Relaxing, peaceful environment. Just bring yourself ... our terrific hosts took care of the rest! Great space for some fun in the sun!
What an absolutely gorgeous, sun-soaked home on Silver Lake.
This truly is a most amazing property. You can sit perched on the deck and take in the most beautiful lake/mountain view as well as check out the action at the most welcoming "general" store which is stocked with all the good stuff.
The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect - from the boats available on the lakeside dock to the logs in the firepit waiting to be lit. The layout of the house is perfect for a large family or 3 couples. It is also very, very clean and meticulously well maintained.
Can’t wait to return!
Great weekend get away, amazing location and stunning amenities.
Warm & cozy but super spacious, great for our 2 couples and toddler.
Would definitely recommend this to any group. You can't get much better than this.
Debbie, was available if we needed her, which we didn't as there's a Guest Book on site with details on how everything works.
Nice to have TVs with cable in every bedroom and just to get away from everything, Barnard's got a General Store, which does great breakfast and lunches, so you don't need to pick up anything before you arrive. Open 7a.m to 7p.m
As well as basics it has local farm fresh produce, meats and fish delivered daily.
Barnard Inn, 2 minute drive from house also serves great meals every evening, plus local home brews (Heady Topper is the one).
Would definitely come back to Vermont in a heartbeat.
Thanks for everything
Thank you Karl for your kind words. I certainly hope your group returns again. Maybe in the summer or fall, so you can enjoy some time on the water.
Wishing you and yours all the best for 2018
This was our first time in Vermont, it was awesome! House is super clean and lovely and warm inside, everything there that we could possibly need. Including outdoor items like sleds. Went cross country skiing on the lake and also did some snowboarding at Killington and Suicide Six. Really an amazing trip.
So glad we found this place. We will definitely be back.
Thanks Debs for the great vacation!
Oh thank you so much Julija for your lovely review,

All the best Dx
Our third visit
This is the third time we’ve stayed at this beautiful home and every time we come back something new and beautiful has been added and this time was no different.
We can’t say enough good things about this fantastic place, we rent a lot of homes on Homeaway during our travels and this is by far the best one.
Everything is really clean with every amenity one could wish for.
Had great fun sledging on the grounds and we even tried our hand at ice fishing. Thanks Debbie for another fabulous stay, we will be back.
Thank you Shelley for your kind words, I hope you come back and stay at the Lake House again, it’s always a pleasure having you and your family visit.
All the best for 2018
Beautiful cozy lake house. Loved it!
We had a great time visiting Vermont in December 2017 even though it was a VERY cold week! The house was warm, clean, cozy and welcoming, and we found plenty of things to do in the area. The views of the lake covered in snow are amazing! We loved the fireplace, it was so nice to enjoy some peace and quiet, and explore Debbie’s book collection. Our kids loved the bunk beds in the basement, sledding right by the house was so fun! Highly recommend visiting Billings farm, Montshire Science museum and Upper Valley Aquatic Center if you have kids. Thank you, Debbie!
Thank you for your lovely review, I am so glad you had a wonderful time, even in the coldest Christmas in Vermont...I hope you will visit one time in the summer and see a different perspective of Lake living..All the best for the new year, Debs
