Outstanding in every way

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 9 days and cannot express our delight highly enough - the property and the owners Russ and Donna are amazing. Russ looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble - from sourcing a hairdryer for my friend and leaving super instructions to the various supermarkets for us to advising us on the best places to visit. I have never used HomeAway before so didn't know what to expect - well, I was blown away by this experience. Russ and Donna have a lovely little casa, clean and tidy and exactly as described in listing - we have already decided that we will stay here again next time we come to Tucson. We had everything we needed and more, they even provided a lovely selection of goodies for us to enjoy :) From here we visited the Sonora Desert Museum and Sabino Canyon, we also drove down to Tombstone and San Xavier - all well worth a visit. The bungalow is only a few minutes outside of town but you really wouldn't think it as it was so very quiet! So Russ and Donna, thank you so very much for having us and for being so wonderful :)

What a wonderful find in Tucson!

  • 5 of 5

The home was everything and more. It was neat and clean, had everything we needed and wonderful location close to the UofA. I loved the bungalow feel with the hardwood floors and the decor fits the home...just like home. Russ was easy to work, always available and so helpful in suggesting local "must-sees"; he obviously take pride in his home and making his guests feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this home!

Enjoyed our stay in Tuscon

  • 5 of 5

Russ was very attentive and helpful. We had a small problem with the garbage disposal. He responded to our e-mails immediately and fixed the problem quickly. Thanks so much Russ. This is a very cute and comfortable bungalow in a great location. The listing is accurate, the property clean and well maintained, and the owner provided excellent customer service. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated how the owner responded to our requests.

loved this home

  • 5 of 5

This home was just perfect for the two of us. The house has lots of character. It is located in an amazing location-easy walk or drive to everything. Loved that Whole Foods is the closest market. I stayed the first night alone in a new city and felt completely safe in this neighborhood. The only tiny inconvenience was my grandson could not watch the basketball playoff's on the TV. No cable and poor reception on the channel that carried the game. So, if TV is important for you, bring your IPad. We watched the game on it and that was fine. I asked the owner, Russell, for a favor and he could not have been more helpful. I would definitely rent this home again. Russell did everything to make this home feel like my own.

Our Minnesota Getaway

  • 4 of 5

Though small, the unit was tidy, well-appointed and well-suited for our needs. Had we been confined indoors because of inclement weather, it would have been too small. However, with the glorious weather we experienced, we were able to spend ample amounts of time enjoying the large back yard in the evening, and the pleasant front yard in the morning. We took advantage of the proximity to the university to walk to several activities there, and thoroughly enjoyed the walkability of the quiet and quaint Blenman - Elm neighborhood. Being addicted to CNBC, the absence of cable TV caused severe withdrawal symptoms early in my stay. The owner was gracious in offering whatever we might have needed to make our stay more comfortable. Brunch and drinks at the Arizona Inn, just a short walk away, offered a respite from my pedestrian grilled meals.
