About Nikki Spencer

PapaLani has been my labor of love since 2003... i am so grateful to steward this land. I have been doing all kinds of body work since 1995 so have a large variety of offerings if you would like. i have been interested in all aspects of health & wellness & will be happy to share with you.

Nikki Spencer purchased this farmhouse in 2003

Why Nikki Spencer chose Captain Cook

I purchased this farm because i am interested in creating a sustainable life & peaceful country living. I love to know where my food is coming from and be involved in the process. I like being away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the cycles of the moon. The farm is spacious and private and offers endless opportunities.

What makes this farmhouse unique

I enjoy the fruit trees, gardening, herbs, vermiculture, raising chickens, making mulch/compost, creating a beautiful and safe environment for people to explore themselves and their connection with nature.

Nice enough but lacking basics

  • 3 of 5

Nikki seems nice and the older property itself is a pretty farm and well maintaIned. It has a comfortable king size bed but it’s really more of a hostel type room. The shared bathroom is clean but the working shower is off limits so you have to shower outside which is great if it’s not winter with cold rain which it was when I stayed. Also the refrigerator is a relic with no way to make ice or store ice and the nearest store is 20 minutes away. There is no ice, coffee, salt, tea, etc, so bring everything. I’d stay here again in a pinch but just as a place to crash for the night.

Incredible place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My son and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Nikki’s farm. She is an incredible host. Nikki is very knowledgeable on everything organic on her farm and all the beaches around to find the dolphins. The Green Room we stayed in was perfect for our stay. We had no place to cook other than microwave and a fridge which was fine for what we needed for this trip. The room was clean, the king size bed was very comfortable and the room was light and airy. We both had awesome sleeps every night listening to the night creatures. We shall be back. I highly recommend Papalani Farm for a relaxing and educational stay!!! Thank you Nikki!!!😍?😍?😍?😊?😊?😊?

A peaceful getaway

  • 5 of 5

Got to Papa and drove in past the Avocado trees and parked. Nikki came out right away and gave me a big hug. What an awesome greeting. I found exactly what I needed as a personal retreat for ten days. The green room is simple, clean, and cozy. It has a small fridge and some simple items, microwave, mugs, french press. Nikki left out a wonderful fruit plate and brought a couple yummy fresh avocados.. as I sat in my first and subsequent evenings I listened to the beautiful sounding birds, frogs, insects of the night and their sweet mesmerizing lullaby. I looked out the window and each time as the sun went down the lush forest breathed life all around me. A true retreat. A place for me to decompress and fill my mind with innovation and lucidity. I will be back ~ Cheers from the world

Pristine peacefulness

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a peaceful Hawaiian experience at an affordable rate, stay at papalani farms! I stayed in one room with a microwave and hot plate, which was big enough for two, and I had the most peaceful sleep!!! It’s cold in the winter time, like 60, but it was very comfortable, spacious, and perfect for a place to rest my head... then head to green sands beach!!! I highly recommend this rental!
