About Marsha

My husband's profession has afforded us the opportunity to travel as well as live in different parts of the country. We chose to settle in the Lower Mills community of Boston because of its quiet and quaint feeling yet still be a part of the life of Boston. The fact that we have 3, wonderful, grandchildren close by had nothing to do with our decision. Being from the South, originally, we have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors and the history behind our area. We have lived in Boston for 25 years and love Boston and New England. I have enjoyed decorating and making our suite a delightful haven for traveling guests and my husband is the consummate friendly tour guide, who will gladly tell you what to be sure and see and how best to get there.

Marsha purchased this condo in 1999

Guestbook comments from the owner

We enjoyed having Kristi and her family. They were able to enjoy the peak of our annual "turning of the leaves" in New England. The weather was wonderful as I recollect. A beautiful time to be in Boston. There is more history per square mile in Boston than any other place in the country and the trolley tour is a wonderful way to see it all. You are able to get off at any of the places of interest and when you are through seeing the sights, you are able catch a ride with the next frequently, scheduled trolley. A car is not needed because we have such a wonderful transit system with in a short walk from our condo. But if you do have a car, we offer free, off-street parking. We are glad to offer all the comforts of home.

Great location and very clean

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 4 nights and 100% recommend it to a friend and we all would stay again if needed. Would highly recommend this accommodation, it was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed.

It is also a very short walk to ashmont T station which was very handy.

Wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to stay in Boston. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood and is very comfortably furnished and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were very soft! There was an excellent supply of very nice towels as well as plenty of extra pillows and blankets. There were a variety of local places to eat within walking distance and the subway was about a 10 minute walk and very easy to get to. The unit was well equipped with kitchen supplies and a good supply of extra paper products. The unit had wi-fi which worked great. I would stay here again!

Comfortable home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

We found the apartment very comfortable and home-like. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen contained everything we needed and the living/ TV room had enough room for the whole group to gather after a long day of touring Boston and relax. The owners allowed us to park our cars in their driveway and keep our cars off the street. But the best feature was probably the nearness to the the "red line". We walked to and from the train every day and used it to travel all sections of Boston. Overall, a great week!
