This 1,000 sq ft newly renovated home is located directly on the Intracoastal waterway. The myriad of boats traveling by is picturesque. An evening spent fishing from your dock, grilling dinner to serve on your outdoor patio is made better by the perfect weather enjoyed in St. Pete Beach. Sip your favorite beverages and lounge on the deck with the sound of the waves lapping against the seawall. The newer Community Center is just 2 blocks away and guests can enjoy every amenity and activity offered there including a heated oceanfront Olympic lap pool and kiddie play area with slides and wading pools. A dog park, weekly farmers market, monthly concerts in the park, seasonal craft fairs and so much more. You do not need a car to enjoy this vacation. Perfectly situated 1-6 easy walking blocks from every thing you can think to do. Even a day at the beach is only a simple 6 block walk or beachbike ride. Children and pets are welcome

This patio home is on the ground floor and has a view of the waterfront from outside it's screened patio. A private grill area for easy outdoor entertaining.The comfortable outdoor living room is directly on the waterfront beneath the shade of the palms that rustle in the cool ocean breezes. The side yard and sitting area is for the exclusive use of the Patio home. Take the Beach bikes for a ride into the Historic Downtown area or the two blocks to the grocery store for some fresh seafood. Take the 2 man kayak out for an adventure in fishing or just sightseeing around the bay Dock your boat and bring your pets along. Our property offers a private sandy beach at low tide. A tropical park right next door. A nice dock for your boat and a wide water view. The wide deck is ample space for cookouts and parties. This is a truly a perfect place to play. Everything you could want is within walking distance and what isn't is just a trolley or Free Beach taxi ride away and with are so many beach bars, casual and fine restaurants so close by you can visit a different place every night. The grocery and liquor store is just a 3 block walk. Historic Corey Avenue just 4 blocks away holds a weekly Sunday street market. There are weekly Farmers Markets at the Community Center and monthly Street Fairs.

We provide more shared amenities than most other homes. The neighborhood offers everytihng fun to do within walking distance. The Historic Corey Avenue offers monthly street festivals and weekly sidewalk events. The community center is directly on the waterfront and offers a huge variety of activities as well as weekly farmers markets. Caddy's famous beachfront restaurant is within biking and walking distance and offers the best people watching and beachside services around.

Paying for the location....not the cottage

We've stayed twice. Once for 6 weeks and once for a month. I'd give the weather and location a 5* but the cottage a 3*. The staff was fantastic, but he owner accused us of doing things we did not. She said we had 6 adults and two young children staying in our unit. We had 2 guests and their two kids stay with us the night before they left on a cruise. We kept the kids, who were always supervised. We also had friends visit who were staying at a hotel on the beach. They encouraged visitors but she said we were being inconsiderate to other guests because we used the shared space too much.....dock, deck and fire table. Well, we paid for it so we used it rather than stay in the dark cottage. I don't think the front guests liked that we used it so they let their dog bark continually at us whenever we were outside fishing or relaxing. We aren't partying people but we enjoyed a glass of wine or beer while sitting around the fire table (which was awesome as long as there was gas available for it)

The owner offered my husband a job helping do some jobs around there. He declined, as this was a working vacation and he was already working each morning on his computer. She showed up at our door and asked him to help move a waterlogged, crab infested floating dock onto land. We were on our way to the beach but he helped anyway. It took a few hours so I guess she got her free help anyway.

The ice maker didn't work. One of the wash machines was out of order. The sleep number bed never worked. The fishing poles were in need of repair which my husband fixed. The shared screen area is right off the glass doors of the front unit which was uncomfortable so we seldom used the bar b q grill or table in there. We had a snake in the bathroom. I managed to kill it with a trash can. Like I said, we stayed twice because of the location. We also met many other guests that we've stayed in touch with. We're going to St Pete Beach this year but have found a different place to stay.

Premium price for tired accommodations

We have rented 6 times is St Pete's beach and were disappointed with the property as misrepresented. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice but rest of condo was dark, dirty, shabby, and musty smelling on arrival. Noisy air conditioner outside back bedroom interfered with restful sleep. Interaction with owner re: situation was tense with her accusing us of doing and saying things we had not said or done. Many things were not in working condition. Caretakers on premises were pleasant and accommodating though most of the situation was beyond their control.

Owner's Response: I made extensive efforts to remedy her concerns. Note that the Kitchen and baths are fine but she didn't like that the place "seemed dark" which lead her to think it was musty. I can't install a bigger window, but offered brighter lighting and a fan. When she departed for an afternoon we bleached and Febreezed everything in site. She thanked me. There are 2 AC units so I offered to turn one off but she she chose to allow it to continue to run. Every other day she had something to "discuss" with my assistants but when we would try to alleviate her "issues" she would then say never-mind, it's alright. She became a nuisance to my staff and yet they remained friendly and accommodating. If you read all other reviews it is a very nice home, but some people you just can't please no matter what you do or to what lengths you go to.

A lovely retreat! Close to everything! Will return

I was traveling with my son and his 2 small boys. The apartment was perfect for our needs. I plan to return this winter for an extended stay.

They were above and beyond to ensure out stay was perfectly!

Beautiful Intracoastal Getaway

Clean with great amenities and convenient location. We were very pleased with the beautiful view over the water as well with the hot tub and everything advertised.

The location is right off the main street and there is a supermarket (Winn Dixie) with the beach and restaurants just a short bike ride or car ride away.

John and Sherri were fantastic hosts and if we needed anything they were right there to help.

The only issue we had was it really only sleeps four comfortably. The couch that is a pull-out is located in a bedroom and you would have to move the furniture around to utilize.

A very minor inconvenience since the couch in the living room was very comfortable. I would highly recommend the property!

Paying for location and outside space.

Good points:

Centrally located to lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc. 1.25 miles from beautiful Sunset beach and Caddys!

Perfect waterfront location.

Great hot tub.

Handy bikes...old but functional.

Not so good points:

Patio unit is very very dark.

Very loud air-conditioning ( we slept very badly because of it)

Most uncomfortable bed in back bedroom.

Not very private.

No recycling facilities ( huge problem for us coming from UK as we recycle everything....neighbours did, not these units)
