Many of the most popular vacation rental websites have been infiltrated by more and more con artist that advertise properties and take payments/reservations for properties that do not exist. Also, many private owners throughout the keys are operating illegal vacation rentals in areas not zoned to allow for rentals of less than 28 days. This is an activity that the county is aggressively cracking down on for a variety of reasons. Owners that are caught by Code Enforcement face steep fines and are required to immediately stop advertising and cancel all of their reservations.
So to insure you have the peace of mind in knowing that you are dealing with a legitimate vacation rental manager and will not become the next victim of internet fraud, finding yourself stranded in the keys without a place to stay or reserve from an owner that is running an illegal rental. It is imperative that you make sure the owner/manager you ultimately rent from is licensed by both Monroe County as well as The State of Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants.

As a Miami resident for over 30 years, I have always enjoyed getting away to Key Largo for the fishing, boating, and relaxation that is unique to the area. I am married to a very supportive wife Charlene and have two great kids, Sofia and Fernando Jr. They all love the outdoors just as much as dad. I am a Civil Engineer by trade, having worked for 11 years at a firm in Miami primarily in the areas of Land Development and Highway Design. In the mid 90's I began renting out my second home in Key Largo to generate extra income and as the saying goes 'The rest is history'. I still keep my Engineering License active (worked to hard to get it) and have since obtained my Real-estate License. I am currently a member of the Key Largo Board of Realtors, the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce and I'm presently serving as President of the Kawama Yacht Club Board of Directors.

Purchased this property because if was by far the nicest and most upscale Resort in all of Key Largo. It offers some of the best amenities, such as the spectacular Oasis Pool and Waterfall Grotto Jacuzzi. It is also centrally located near the heart of Key Largo, close to shops and restaurants.

We again thoroughly enjoyed our third stay at this spacious, well-kept, 3-floor villa in a gated property with two pools. Highly recommended for those who need a quiet break in beautiful surroundings.

We loved staying at Mariner’s Club. The location was ideal. Close to everything, yet far away from the hussle and bustle. We were a family of 5, with 3 women. Having the 3 1/2 baths was great. We went 3 months after hurricane Irma, and although you could still see debris along US-1 we had no complications during our trip. The townhouse has lots of room. We loved the upper sun deck. Will definitely tell all my friends about it.
6 of us rented this condo for the week beginning 4/1/2017. Nothing phony in everything that is advertised! There were not issues with anything. Pool is wonderful, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping areas, televisions, and things I have not mentioned are all topnotch. Short walk to pier and pools. Saw various fish and stingrays at pier. 15 year old grandson was with us and thought he may be bored, but not the case. Very close to Publix grocery store, Kmart, post office, baitshop, gas stations, local shopping. Security at gate is very friendly and helpful. Also noticed that nite shift gate person patrols ground on golf cart with very large spotlight. This was our first time in Florida Keys and felt VERY safe in this community. Fernando is very easy to deal with and honest. Looking forward to booking next year. You will not be disappointed!
The town house is light, spacious and airey. The decor is contemporary and modern and high finished. It is very well equipped and set up for 6 to 8 people. The amenities in the resort are excellent and caters for all ages. It is very well located to explore the keys with many restaurants and activities nearby.
The condo was perfect with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the finishes were very nice, the pool was amazing. we enjoyed the amenities and thought it was centrally located to many stores but still tucked away that you didn't feel you were in the middle of businesses. cant wait to book it again. Thanks for the great memories!!
