Hello all,
I am writing this review because I was just amazed with this rental home and feel I need to share my experience. First off the owners Susan and Arthur were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They are responsive to emails and answered any and all questions. The home upon arrival was immaculately clean and breath taking. It has a nice cozy feeling and was very inviting. The layout is perfect and functions very well, the kitchen is beautiful and has top brand appliances and is a nice size where you can have more than one cook and not get in each others way. The living room flows rather nicely from the kitchen and is remarkable in its own way with nice furniture a large flatscreen with many channels to view. There are also wrap around sliders with nice sweeping views of Sunday River ski area and beyond. The main focus of the room is surely the fireplace with the deer head mounted above. There is plenty of well seasoned firewood, so no trouble getting a nice crackling fire going to relax by after a day of skiing , which by the way was also a awesome time, especially with the V.I.P parking that comes with rental and parks you right in front of the South ridge Ski lodge. The dining room is also connected and flows nice and there is plenty of room for a larger group or family and you get the same nice mountain views out the sliders while your eating. There is also a nice clean bathroom close by. The sleeping arrangements are great, with the masters upstairs a queen bedroom on the main floor and bunk rooms downstairs which gives you some separation but not to much if you have smaller children. The upstairs masters are nice with comfortable beds, connecting bathrooms and plenty of room for all belongings, both have nice views , one has views of Sunday River ski area. There is a very cozy reading loft on this floor which is great for reading or putting a puzzle together. The queen bedroom on the main floor is also nice with the same comfy bed, and a good view also. The bunk rooms downstairs are great for the little ones with a large bathroom shared between them and there is also a nice game room to keep them occupied while the parents can have there own time on the main floor. Ok are you ready... A 8 person hot tub out the lower level slider with amazing views to the mountain and nature, and to make it even better, there is a sauna just 10 steps from the hot tub sharing the same mountain view. Thank you Susan and Arthur for a great time!!!!!!
We rented both the Bobcat's Den and the Eagle's Nest. The house was beautiful and the view of the fall colors was spectacular. There were 22 of us and never felt crowded. Susan was always available when we needed her. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!
Hi Susan
Just wanted to say thank you for the return of the security deposit. Alan, Katie
and Alex had a wonderful time at Sunday River. They took lots of
pictures - so I could see all the snow they had! They seemed to have all weather
conditions during the 5 days there, but managed to ski/board
everyday. They particularly liked being able to park so close - that's a great
bonus! They all felt very at home at Bobcats Den - thank you once again.
Hopefully be in touch next year!
All the best to you and your family
Regards
Suzanne
Hi Susan,
I just wanted to say thank you and let you know
that we really enjoyed the weekend at the Bobcat's
Den. With all the amenities at the house, I'm
suprised we even managed to tear ourselves away
to go skiing on Saturday! Thank you also for your
flexibility with the dogs and the 2-day rental -- it
was a real treat to be able to spend my Birthday
with good company in such a lovely space. :-)
