Great cabin, clean and well furnished
Quiet cabin tucked in the woods
Clean, quiet cabin tucked in the woods. The fall colors were in peak and it was beautiful! I was very happy with the amenities and cleanliness. Had some trouble with the fireplace but enjoyed a short pontoon ride on the lake. I would definitely go back and recommend to others.
A fun four wheeling weekend with great friends
We loved this cabin, it was clean, spacious and plenty of room and privacy. The four bedrooms are huge. We loved that it had a huge deck, and outside fire pit. Steve and Anna were very helpful in letting us know where to go to get on the ATV trails and they also let us know that we should definity eat at the Delta Diner, it was amazing. They answered all of our questions and were very quick to get back to us when we were inquiring about the property. The yard is beautiful with huge pines. It was a short walk though the tall pines to go down by the pontoon and enjoy the lake. There is a nice sand beach (even though it was a little too cold to swim this weekend). We will be staying there again. Thank you for renting out the beautiful cabin and for allowing others to enjoy your home away from home. Thanks again, Jennifer
It was cozy, clean, and all round wonderful! The lake was great for fishing as was the area. The views were spectacular. If you love nature, and seclusion, I highly recommend staying here.
It is a great place to get away from it all. We hope to see you again soon!

Nice Cabin but could use some updates
Overall our group enjoyed the cabin but thought there were some updates that were sorely due. The cabin was clean and had most everything we needed but it did lack common spaces and seating, and our group felt the description was somewhat misleading due to its main living area size and not being directly on the lake. The cabin was NOT on the lakeshore, and required a small walk to get to the lake. The lakeshore area was also shared amongst several cabins which was both nice since it was a large beach area and had several canoes, kayaks, and water toys for use, and a bit of a negative as there wasn't any private lakeshore area for use. The lake was swimmable but a bit weedy in parts and fishing on the lake was ok during our stay, we caught a couple small bass and northern pike over 2 days of moderate fishing. With a few updates this cabin would be a 4 or 5 star. The included use of the pontoon made a huge difference for our groups satisfaction as well, even if it was in rough condition. Overall I would recommend this cabin but there were a few things that we felt didn't align with expectations
-The 4 bedrooms were large and offered private spaces for sleeping
-The pontoon Included was very nice for enjoying the lake and is a perk not often offered with other cabin rentals
-The cabin itself looked generally well maintained and was clean
-Secluded cabin location offered plenty of privacy
-The outdoor firepit was big enough for several people to enjoy
-The Owner (Steve) was very responsive and gave us appropriate details.
-The cabin is NOT on the lakeshore and its access shares a common beach/dock area with several other cabins, it is a couple hundred yard walk to the lake.
-The pontoon was in very rough shape (all seats were ripped/torn, moss growing on parts, carpet torn)
-The only common living room area was extremely small and there was only 1 futon and a rocking chair for seating(4 seats is not nearly enough when the cabin can sleep up to 14)
-The kitchen was small and could only accommodate 1 or 2 people max
-The dining area was small, cramped, and was a high top table which was uncomfortable if sat at for a long period of time (which was necessary due to lack of other seating options)
Thanks for your review. We always appreciate comments so that we can strive to make everyone's visit with us a pleasurable experience. The cabin is not directly on the lake but we really wish it was. We do however enjoy the seclusion of the tall pines which surround us. The living spaces in the cabin were designed by the original owners and unfortunately are not something we can change without adding on to the structure itself which isn't feasible for its intended use. Our pontoon is always a challenge for us. It is a bit worn and scheduled to have a new interior put in at seasons end. We decided years ago that since our pontoon was already there, why not let guests use it. We have never charged for its use and even include the gas. The new interior which will be installed over the winter will make a big difference in its appearance. Thanks again for your comments and we hope you will come stay with us again.
