Condo, 1 Bedroom + Queen Sofa Bed, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4) Max
Top of the Waves is a 9 unit, beachfront condominium. Our first floor 1 bedroom unit is ground level and faces the ocean. When you step outside the condo you are in a sandy area surrounded by a privacy fence and a huge common deck area complete with lounge chairs, picnic tables, and 2 gas grills. The only thing separating you from the ocean are the dunes. Walk past the deck and you are just a few steps to the beach. The beach at 55th Street is lifeguard protected during the summer season.
You are located right across the street from Mallon’s Bakery where you can pick up fresh bagels, sticky buns, and hot coffee after your morning walk on the beach. For lunch you can grab a really great sandwich right off the beach across the street at Sack of Subs.
In the evening, you and the family are a short block away from A La Mode Ice Cream Parlor. Boyers market is 2 short blocks away for any grocery shopping or convenience item needs. For fresh take-out or eat-in seafood, walk over to Mike’s Seafood. For those of you headed to the boardwalk, you can catch the trolley which stops outside our condo every half hour after 5 PM during summer months.
Enjoy one of the many first and second floor decks. Some of the best sunsets can be seen from the second floor deck overlooking the bay side.
The southern end of Ocean City also offers the bay for kayaking and nature trails, among other activities. This area is truly its own quiet community within the larger community of Ocean City.
America's Greatest Family Resort's boardwalk won The Travel Channel's heart with its family-oriented attractions. Ocean City's 'go-karts, movies, water park, mini golf and kiddie rides' are all mentioned in the article, in addition to some 'big traditions, like Thursday family nights with free concerts and dancing.
The Travel Channel also named Ocean City as the Garden State's most popular beach.

Why Diana chose Ocean City
Our family has grown up near the shore. We chose to buy at the quiet, southern end of OC, NJ because of the family atmosphere and its unique location near Corson's Inlet State Park. There is always something to do in OC, even in the off season. It gives us a feeling of peace and calm whenever we are here. Many people who rent come back for a return vacation year after year. You have to experience 'Top of the Waves' to feel the magic.

Awesome condo in a great location
On the beach and walking distance to a few restaurants and parks. Perfect for our 2 year old!
A wonderful place to stay. Loved it!!
Lovely part of OCNJ
My mom and I came and stayed for 4 days in this lovely condo for her 75th birthday. The condo is very lovely inside and very up to date. It is exactly what you need for a get away.
We were going to cook breakfast which we could have done easily in the well equipped kitchen but decided we wanted to go out. Within walking distance there are several restaurants and within biking distance even more.
It is right over the dunes to the beach which was huge so it didn't feel like you were right on top of the person next to you. Out in front of the condo there are picnic tables and chairs/loungers so if you weren't into walking in the sand you can still enjoy the sound of the waves from right outside your door.
We enjoyed our stay ☀️
Had a great weekend- great location for peace, quiet and the beach!
Thanks Holly, I'm glad you enjoyed our place. And I hope you'll come back again.
Just the right space
Just the right space and location. Will surely be back. I love that her us in the shores. Close to Mike's seafood and Ice cream shop. Not too far from the boardwalk but away enough to have a private time and close enough to venture.
Tight but lovely quarters
We stayed here for a week towards the end of summer and had a good time. There is a door between the front room and the bedroom, but the door is vented, so not as much privacy as I would have liked.
We had some difficulty with the TV but with a bit of work figured it out.
The location is well away from the boardwalk but you step out to the sand. You cannot see the ocean from the first floor because of the dunes but you can see lots of sand.
If it was just a couple (or a very young child up to four years old) I think the place would have been perfect.
Did you know that you can use Shore Shuttle to go to the communities of Ocean City, Somers Point, Margate, Longport Marmora & Strathmere.
