We were unable to get the internet to work. We got up "mountshasta" but the password "Shasta" would not authenticate. It tried to connect but could not complete the connection.

We left several messages to the property company but no one would return any of our calls. Most distressing. Not being able to use the internet was a hardship for us.

Please explain - Thx the ketley's

Owner's Response: I am sory that you could not access the internet. I noiced that you wrote the password all in lowercase letters. You should have used all uppercase letters as it is shown. We hope you has anenjoyable stay otherwise. Chuck Hayes owner

Best vacation in a long time!

  • 5 of 5

I loved this vacation home!!! It was so beautiful it had all the necessities! It was so quiet and relaxing. We were concerned being it was a condo but it was so peaceful. I'm in an electric wheelchair and this home had one step up to the front door but I had brought my fold up ramp and was able to get in and out independently with my fold up ramp. The doorways in home and in the house were all wheelchair friendly except for the bathrooms and closet in master bedroom. My husband just carried me to the bathroom as I'm only 60 lbs. we brought my 15 month old son with us and the house was very safe for him. He loved the enclosed porch out back. The rental managers were so friendly and easy to work with and answered all of our question prior to the trip and during. Not 1 complaint here. We loved how close it was to beaches, the redwoods, crescent city, the aquarium etc. I can't wait to come back to this home. I miss it lol!

Breath taking views in a cozy home.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I took our two young sons on our first big vacation to this lovely spot! The condo was perfect for our family, with a spacious living room and bedrooms with walk in closets. The kitchen was well appointed with utensils, dishes and cookware. The home was very clean and there were plenty of extra towels, pillows and blankets. The deck was amazing and had ample seating and table space. There were TV's and DVD players in the living room and both bedrooms with instructions for use. We loved having the mountains and the ocean both in view as well. The trail to the beach was well maintained and though steep was manageable. We loved to plan our day around going down to the beach at low tide to check out the sea life in the tide pools and on the rocks. There is also a cave to explore! We saw crabs, starfish and lots of other little creatures. The grocery store was close and so were other shops and services. We were able to enjoy an incredible hike in the redwoods as well as fresh crab from a local fisherman. Every one we encountered was very helpful and nice and the property managers were quick to answer any questions. We rarely saw other tenants of the condo which made our stay even more peaceful. To spend a week relaxing and taking in the full beauty of the amazing ocean view as well as the majestic forest was just what our family needed. It was so wonderful none of us wanted to leave. We will for sure be staying here again in the future and cannot wait to return!

Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, good relaxation!

  • 4 of 5

Our stay at this location was enjoyable. It was a much needed getaway. There is plenty of room for a comfortable stay for up to 4 guest with a pull out couch. I enjoyed their collection of DVD's. A couple things that need updating was the supply of kitchen supplies. The two cooking pans available were so scratched and worn I didn't even feel like it was safe to use them with them worn down to metal. It shouldn't be hard to go to the dollar store and buy a new sponge either especially since they require you to clean your own dishes before you leave. Also the place smells musty and was very dusty in areas that were easy to clean. The top of their fridge made you not want to cook in the kitchen. Some simple TLC and the place would tidy up nicely. Would consider coming back here, definitely a beautiful view worth the stay. Thanks for sharing your condo.

Great!

  • 5 of 5

Great rental. Other reviews are very accurate, although we didn't see any cobb-webs or rusty drains. The facilities are quite enjoyable. The view is AMAZING!!! The apartment does present the illusion of secludedness. It's just... and this isn't my cup of tea, but if it was... you can't exactly walk around in your heebie-jeebies or you will be spotted by a neighbor. This condo is only one unit in a huge condo complex. So I don't know about "secluded" persé. I will say though, we were never bothered by anyone and the people there were very nice when crossing paths in the parking lot or whatever. The cleaning service needs to get all the way under the furniture on the hardwood floors. There was a buildup of dust visible under the couch.

But it honestly feels wrong to even bring up the two negatives in a sea of positives. Well worth the money. You won't be disappointed. The kitchen is very well equipped. Oh, bring drinking water, the tap water isn't the best tasting. though I've had worse (Vegas). The beach is actually not as far down as it looks. It's very close to town.

Anyways, good job guys!

Amazing View!!!

  • 4 of 5

Our family had a great time. The walk down to the beach was fun (trail is a bit steep in places) and all the diffrent flowers and plants were interesting to look at. The bunnies outside our window in the mornings were cute, and lots of hummingbirds came too.

The beach is great! On the right side there is a ton of tide pools with crabs, fish, and sea stars. On the left side of the beach you can go through the cave and and play on soft sandy beach with lots of diffrent rock formations, very beautiful, and private, we were there for 3 days and never saw another person.

The condo was nicely located and mostly updated. I gave it 4 stars only because there was a lot if cobwebs and dust, and the master bath shower is kinda gross and rusty. A good deep cleaning would really help, other then that it was clean. The beds were nice and the linens smelled good. I would stay again.
