I'm selling my most loved home, so during the selling process (by owner, not realtor), it will be available for rent. The rate is reduced to accommodate you in case I have to show it while you are here. Chances are this will not happen. But I can always hope. Maybe you'll fall in love and buy it. Showings will be during the daylight hours when you are most likely volunteering at Best Friends, or off adventuring to the National Parks and other wonders of Utah. I will text you when I need to show it.
At my home, you'll look out the sliding glass door onto roses, wildflowers, and mature fruit trees, all against the backdrop of the magnificent vermilion cliffs. With no houses behind you, only sagebrush and junipers rolling down to the creek, there's serenity and peace every minute of every day. Unless the resident road runner makes an appearance to glare at you, for he thinks he owns the place. Sit on the trek backyard deck, and just soak in the sun and surroundings.
These fenced two and a half acres were once home to the Anasazi Indians, and when you walk around the property, you'll find pottery shards from long ago.
Inside my home, you'll find the warmth and welcome of a home designed for comfort for all members of your family. The upstairs (about 1500 square feet) area features far views of the cliffs, east and west. Near views are of bunnies and birds, who expect you to leave seed out for their pleasure. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms off the living room - one master and one guest. An open living space for TV watching and dining, with windows soaking in the cliff views.
The kitchen features cabinets galore, with more views of the cliffs as you cook. Off the kitchen is the laundry room/toilet, with a hallway of cabinets which leads to an office/craft/bedroom, again with windows of views.
This hallway also leads to a two car garage. From that garage is a separate entrance to a full basement (about 1500 square feet). This huge living space stays cool all year round, opens to the biggest bedroom - with two queen beds - with full bath. There are two storage spaces with shelves for more office or storage space. This area is perfect for children and for guests.
The house sits in the middle of 2.8 acres. Totally fenced, the front yard is fenced separately from the back yard.
Kanab is centrally located to many natural wonders. Zion, Grand Canyon North Rim and Bryce National Parks and Lake Powell are less than 1.5 hours away. And of course, Best Friends Animal Society is 15 minutes away and is the premier no-kill animal society in the world. It's not to be missed.
