Exceeded our expectations in every way

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely fabulous property. The setting is postcard perfect. The cabin itself is furnished beautifully and every detail has been meticulously attended to and maintained. The owners are incredible hosts - there if you need them, otherwise invisible. A+++++ experience. It doesn't get any better than this!

Perfect stay

  • 5 of 5

I booked 18 months in advance because this was by far the best accommodations I could find in my exhaustive search. We had high expectations and they were exceeded during our stay. Tom and Julie were great hosts who were available if you needed them but not to be seen otherwise. The setting on the lake and stream along with the mountain view had us excited to come back each night. That is saying an awful lot with all of the beautiful views around in Glacier.

Owner's Response: Brian & Nicole, We are thrilled that after planning for such a long time, that we were able to live up to your vision. Your enthusiasm means so much. It's hard to imagine with all of Glacier's beauty that our setting could compare. What a compliment! Other guests have told us they also love coming back to the cabin to enjoy the tranquility and picturesque surroundings. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Tom and Julie

Absolutely gorgeous setting

  • 5 of 5

Truly a memorable and serene setting with so much wildlife to observe daily. The cabin is extremely well thought out and stocked. A comfortable stay with everything we needed. Loved having coffee on the deck in the am, using the gazebo for evening dinners, a well stocked fire pit for quiet nights under the stars. This was such a great experience and a great place to explore the area and glacier park. We had 2 couples and each couple had good space. Tom and Julie do live onsite but respected privacy. The cabin and grounds are kept beautifully. It was a wonderful vacation and I recommend this property without reservation. Exceeded expectations.

Fantastic cabin in the best location!

  • 5 of 5

The Lake Blaine Mtn Resort is by far the best, prettiest, cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. The cabin is equipped with everything and then some you could possibly need and we loved we were able to rent a high chair and crib for our little one. The cabin is very clean, it felt like we were the first family to stay there.

You can't beat the location either, close to Glacier National Park, close to whitefish, Big Fork and Kallispel. And after a busy day exploring it's just wonderful to get to the cabin and relax in the backyard. We saw eagles, geese, birds, deer, elk and many more animals while enjoying a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. Great for couples or a family. We had a great stay and Tom and Julie go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable in their beautiful cabin.

We will definitely be back:-)

Beauty, tranquility, and luxury!

  • 5 of 5

As mentioned by many others, Tom and Julie are amazing hosts! They gave us a comprehensive tour of the cabin and had wonderful, detailed binders with information about the area, restaurants, etc.. They are gracious, kind, and welcoming.

The cabin itself is a balance of rustic and luxurious. The detail is without compare and you won't want for anything. Tom and Julie have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable.

The property is heaven! Each night we sat outside, listening to the wind rustling the leaves in the pines and the birds calling to one another, watching the eagles in the soar overhead and waiting to see which wildlife would make an appearance (deer, geese, owls, eagles, turkey, etc).

The location is a perfect base for West Glacier, Whitefish, Flathead Lake, and minutes from the Glacier National Airport; although, you'd never know it because you don't see or hear planes. There are plenty of local eateries, grocery stores, etc so you can either take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen or go out to eat (try all things Huckleberry!).

My husband took a kayak out and spent a couple of hours taking in the surroundings, spotting deer, an eagle's nest, and getting fly-bys from the blackbirds.

I can't say enough about this cabin! Before we left, I made reservations for our next stay!
