About Terry Forman

We purchased this home simply because we fell in love with it. The home itself is so peaceful and inviting. A perfect creative space. We enjoy the outdoors tremendously and love that we are so close to skiing of all types and endless mountain bike trails. We lived in it for two years and then moved to a larger home across the valley from it. We know you will enjoy it as much as we have!

Great property...

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this property over Christmas weekend and loved every second of our stay. The property manager, Terry, was welcoming, responsive, and helpful. The home itself is lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds were comfy and the bedding cozy. The hot tub was amazing and just what we needed/wanted after skiing. The master room is large and the other two rooms are smallish, but was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Just what you would imagine a ski house to be!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely home had all the amenities and even more charm. The wooden support beams brought the outdoors in. It was a cozy home yet spacious enough for 5 of us to spread out--we really would have loved a fireplace to complete the scene. Just a word of warning, if you go in the winter, make sure to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle because the little road the home is located on is plowed, but snow packed. I am assuming it is a road in the summer. Would definitely return.

Wonderful Home

  • 5 of 5

This property had everything we needed. The centrally located kitchen became the focal point for preparing meals including a fantastic Thanksgiving feast. The house has a great hot tub, is very dog friendly, and located not far from the center of Nederland and local hiking trails. All in all, a wonderful home for our family to be together.

Nederland home in the mountains

  • 4 of 5

We had a short two night stay at this home. When we first pulled up we were a little alarmed because the way the houses are organized on the small road made the whole set up look a little iffy. Our worries were for nothing as the home was quite nice inside. The downstairs was spacious and the set up was perfect for talking and dining, and the "kids" could play games in the couch/TV area without being in the middle of everything.

The bedrooms were upstairs, along with a fancy bathroom with double shower heads in the enclosed shower. The master bedroom was HUGE and had great space with a small balcony off it. One of the bedrooms was pretty small, but the twin beds in it were comfortable, and it served its purpose.

The highlight of the stay was seeing a moose in the driveway next door one of the evenings. Very exciting! There were a lot of instructions about food handling due to the bears that might wander through, but we did not see any bears. Darn!

The house is in the tiny town of Nederland, which is about 8200 feet above sea level. There are four or five restaurants in this town, which is right in the middle of some spectacular scenery. The wind was fierce while we were there adding to the mountain feel of things. There is a carousel in town with all of the animals hand carved over the last 26 years by a Viet Nam veteran. It was fun to take a ride on the carousel and look at all the animals. Plus, it was only a dollar each, which is quite a bargain!

We had a great stay in this house, and found the owners easy to work with. We would definitely consider staying there again if we're ever in the area. As a side note, it was too early in the year to ski, but the Eldora ski resort is just a short 15 or 20 minute drive up the mountain from the house.
