Frequently Asked Questions

Is the cottage private?
Yes, our cottage is on a quiet, pristine part of the lake. We have two neighbors. One is 100 feet away, the other 75 feet away. Trees between our cottages create privacy. Both neighbors appreciate privacy.

How close is the cottage to the waterfront?
About 150 feet. There is a path from our cottage down to the waterfront.

What is the waterfront like?
There is a 20 foot wide, sandy, shallow cove to enter the water for swimming and boating. The remaining 80 feet of the waterfront is rocky with bushes and trees. The waterfront area is owned by our neighbors. We have deeded access to the cove area for recreational use. Our neighbors have their own private waterfront so the cove area is usually only used by our guests.

Are there lake views from the cottage and deck?
Yes. It is a beautiful angled view of a portion of the lake. There is a photo of the view.

The beautiful Rangeley area is known for its majestic mountains, lakes, rivers and streams. Enjoy the many recreational opportunities from our doorstep. Hike the nearby mountains and Appalachian Trail. Paddle the dozens of lakes, ponds, and rivers. Bike loops along the lake fronts. Scenic float plane tours and boat rentals. Explore the 13,000 preserved wilderness acres.

Cultural Amenties: Saddleback Mountain Concert Series, movie theatre, fine dining, unique local shops (books, clothing, home furnishings), Sporting Heritage and Logging Museums, local family fun days and festivals, art and craft shows.
