About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)

This cozy, serenely restful property dates back to 1898 and still maintains the historic charm of the original home. High ceilings, hardwood floors, rooms with Victorian trim, all decorated in a warm and welcoming decor bring you back to simpler, more relaxed times. There is an eat-in kitchen, cozy living room, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. 2 outdoor porches are delightful for sitting out in our gorgeous Colorado weather. One of the bedrooms has a Dutch door that leads to a side porch.

You can sleep with the top of the door open and enjoy the air! There is an outdoor patio with table and chairs for outdoor dining in a private garden.

The house is on a very quiet residential street just a few blocks walk to beautiful Boulder creek, hiking trails in the foothills, historic Chautauqua Park, shopping, eating and people watching on the Pearl Street Mall, the University campus, Boulder's amazing Farmer's Market and Alfalfa's organic grocery store. The location is ideal for anything you might like to do in the Boulder area. A five minute drive or bike ride and you are in Boulder Canyon heading to the high country.

The property is part of the exquisite Marine Street Sculpture Gardens, created and maintained by local artist extraordinaire Kevan Krasnoff. Sculpture and whimsical art pieces fill the beautiful gardens , right outside the door of this unique vacation rental.

We offer extra special services for guests with quiet dogs. We can arrange for dog-walking and some visiting. We love dogs and appreciate people who wish to travel with theirs!

In-home therapeutic massage available with sufficient notice.

The home has antique pieces and inviting colors to bring out the Victorian charm in this beautiful home.

Close to everything, perfect for a small family.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our time in Boulder! Cindy's place was well equipped and was in the best location. A 5 - 10 minute walk to Pearl Street, close to the Library (which had great kids programs), super quiet and safe neighborhood, and close to Chautauqua park. Thanks for the best time Cindy! We hope we can make it again next year!

Fabulous month in Boulder

  • 5 of 5

The house is charming and cozy and surrounded by trees. It is perfectly located to walk to parks, the path along Boulder creek and downtown shopping and dining areas plus the Pearl St Pedestrian Mall. The back porch opens onto a small garden and is a lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine. The owner was warm and welcoming.

Delightful Home

  • 5 of 5

This sweet Tudor style home painted in cheerful and tasteful colors is situated on a street with friendly but unobtrusive neighbors just around the corner from Boulder Creek and within walking distance to Pearl Street Mall. The home is quiet and quaint with a delightful porch to enjoy the greenery in the yard. Real baby white roses in one of the bedrooms was a nice added touch. Thanks to Cindy for an enjoyable stay over the Labor Day weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at Cindy's house and everything it had to offer in proximity to the trails, Boulder creek and Pearl Street. We were running ahead of schedule and Cindy was happy to allow us early entry.

Charming Home Close to Pearl Street Activities

  • 4 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming property. Pearl Street, the Boulder Library, and Sculpture Park were a short walk away. The two porches and the small bistro table in the side yard allowed many enjoyable spots to entertain family and friends. The kitchen was fully stocked and a joy to use. Cindy was a gracious host and readily available for any concerns or questions that I had throughout my stay. Just as an FYI, this home does not have central a/c. There were many windows and doors throughout the home for good ventilation with ceiling fans in the living room and the main bedroom. I would highly recommend this property to one and all.
