Why Terri Flynn chose Seaside
Seaside is definitely a FUN place to visit. We especially like the change of pace in Seaside. We call our time there 'Beach Time'. Things move at a slower pace.
What makes this House unique
Fresh seafood is a 'must have' for us. It is readily available throughout Seaside and the nearby area. With a little luck we actually catch our own crab right off the nearby 12th Av. bridge. It doesn't get any fresher than that!

Brilliant! Loved it!
We stayed for a weekend with our toddlers. The location is great....short walk to the beach and a kids payground. Everything is clean and nice.
It really is a cute cottage and the location is great.
Our stay was great. The location is ideal to the boardwalk and the 12th street bridge
were the crabbing was good and a lot of fun. We walked to the beach too. Our grand-
children loved their stay, they had so much fun.
Fantastic stay at the Cute Cottage By the Sea
My friend and I took our daughters to Seaside for the weekend. Super close to to boardwalk, the girls brought their bikes and they loved how close this cottage was to the boardwalk where all the action is. The cottage is older but super clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was stocked with appropriate cooking pots, pans and utensils. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable! Loved our trip and will book again!
Cottage by the sea
The house is very clean and has all the amenities of home. The house is better for individuals traveling without children. Lots of rules and might be hard to accomplish with small children. TVs are small and Direct TV doesn't have a lot to choose from, however, there is a DVD player and many movies to choose from. No WiFi which was okay for me but tough for my husband. Easy walk to the beach and glad it was away from the touristy spots. Would be nicer if there was outside furniture that was more comfortable to lounge on. I would have rated this higher but not being able to read my book outside was sad. FYI, the Provident hospital walkIn clinic was superb! Staff at Rite Aid were amazing but their choice in best pizza wasn't as good as we hoped for. Lol
Upon arrival the mustiness of the home caused two of our family to resort to allergy meds while we aired the house out. We were dissappointed with the aged kitchen and bath which looked to be last updated 50+ years ago. Old looking formica, linoleum and scarred and chipped porcelain appliances. One of the bedroom's doorway had curtains instead of a door and the newer living room furiture was covered with slip covers that look like movers blankets. The home has a decent yard with charcoal BBQ and is a block and half to the beach entrance and the end of the town's promenade walkway. The home's interior needs some of the attention that the exterior has recieved. The pictures in the listing are accurate - just disappointing.
We are very saddened by this guests disappointment. Our home was built in the 1940's for sure and it has the original kitchen and bathroom but fresh paint in every room, new carpet in every room, new roof, all new living room furniture (purchased last summer and covered with sure fit slip covers) and a new bed in the master bedroom. We like the vintage kitchen and bathroom. Thats part of our beach house charm. Being so close to the beach and with all the moisture in the air year around some guests who are super sensitive to moisture and vintage house smells may need to air out our home upon arrival. If guests come in from the beach with wet clothes and towels, this can add to the beachy smell so thats why we ask that you rinse off before entering. We have a hose right at the front porch. When our home was remodeled by previous owners, they added the living room and dining room. That made the old living room their master bedroom and they didn't want a door because it would have opened the wrong way. The other guest bedroom has a door if you'd like more privacy. We don't invest in large screen TV's but we have 2 flat screens. Our thinking is that when you're on vacation and with family and friends, we're hoping our guests make some lasting and wonderful memories. Most people especially grand parents bringing grandchildren love that their time is uninterrupted by electronics. We do have direct TV and tons of movies though just in case Thank you for reading our response. Come stay with us, we'd love to have you.
Wonderful family time
We stayed as two couples and a toddler, and had a great time. The house is cozy and spacious at the same time, plus the yard is beautiful and well kept. Great proximity to the beach and neighborhood park as well!! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Within walking distance to the beach (1 block), the Convention Center, downtown arcades, fun centers, restaurants, the 12th Ave. bridge for crabbing etc. The Seaside Outlet Mall and Movie Theater complex is also 6 blocks away and so is the Seaside Aquarium.
