Surrounding Area:

Grand Lake is one of Colorado’s first vacation communities with its charming lakeside village setting. Grand Avenue (the main street) gives you the feeling the frontier still exists as the western heritage is carefully preserved through wooden boardwalks and split lodgepole pine facades on the downtown buildings

The town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) and surroundings provide an abundance of both summer & winter activities: Skiing (20 minutes to Sol Vista ski resort) or (35 minutes to Winter Park ski resort), Nordic skiing (groomed trails minutes away at Grand lake golf course), snow-shoeing, sledding, ice-fishing, hiking, horse-back riding, white water rafting, boating, Sail boating, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing/hunting, golf (Pole Creek, Grand Lake, SolVista and Grand Elk courses), mountain biking, hot springs (22 pools) at near-by Hot Sulphur Springs a short 20 min drive, wildlife viewing, along with the many restaurants and gifts shops you'll find in town, make this an ideal vacation rental.

RMNP entrance is a 5 minute drive. RMNP has some of the best walking or snowshoeing trails in the world. If you like to see moose, elk, big horn sheep, and deer, you can just drive up Trail Ridge road (the highest road in the world, from Grand Lake to Estes Park).

Grand Lake has the best snowmobiling and trail riding in Colorado with hundreds of miles of trails just minutes from the house. Summer or winter you can rent ATV or snow mobiles.

Nearby Trail Ridge Marina rents sport/power and pontoon boats so you can get out and enjoy the water.

In consideration for our guest no smoking or pets allowed.

The best part of your vacationing in Grand Lake area - You can do as much as you like or just sit back and relax!

Our 3 night stay went off without a hitch. Very spacious and warm feeling home. Big dining room table was perfect for games and big dinners. 10/10 would stay again.

It worked great.

  • 5 of 5

The Cabin has a very homey feel. Very comfortable. Beds slept good and good views. Nice loft area. We were pulling atv trailers and had to back in, but its the only house on the end of a street so it worked well. Thanks again for sharing your property with us.

We had a great time with family from Pennsylvania. The cabin was very spacious with plenty of room for the eight of us.

Thanks for letting us in your beautiful home

We easily fit 5 adults & 5 kids in the cabin. Great location with easy access to many activities.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The dining table was fantastic for our large group, as was the living room. The loft was a great space for the kids even though the pull out couches could use new mattresses. Our major concern was the locks on the doors. There are no deadbolts and with small children this can be problematic, as they can easily open the locked doors. Overall, we had a great time!

Nice cabin

  • 4 of 5

The house is lovely inside and very comfortable, full kitchen, cozy furniture. The location is a bit close to the highway with no trees around so if you are sensitive to highway car noise this maybe an issue. Inside the house is quiet, but sitting outside is a bit exposed.

Rented a boat from Trail Ridge Marina and highly recommend it.

The owner is very nice and communicative.
