About Amy Abbott
My husband Randy and I are both Pharmacists and have always loved coming to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We started coming here together when we first started dating at the University of Kentucky's College of Pharmacy. We now live on a small hobby horse farm in western Kentucky where we are raising our 2 daughters. We have 8 horses, 1 goat, 2 pigs,4 peacocks, and many types of chickens. We also have 5 dogs. Our family likes to do many things together in the great outdoors.Horseback riding, hiking and our new found interest, thanks to the national park, fly fishing!
Amy Abbott purchased this Cabin in 2011
Why Amy Abbott chose Sevierville
Our family has been coming to the Smoky Mountains for years and it holds a special place in our hearts. We love enjoying all the unique outdoor opportunities this area offers. It does not matter what the season is, you can always find something to do for entertainment. We chose this cabin at Bear Creek Crossing due to its convenient location, awesome views, amenities and security features.
What makes this Cabin unique
I love my morning coffee here at the cabin. Now we offer both Keurig and Regular coffee makers. It is so enjoyable to walk around holding my warm mug while I enjoy looking out each of the different windows. Each one gives a unique view of the nearby mountains. The on site amenities here are fabulous for families. The mini golf and 2 pools by the waterfall are inviting enough to enjoy your stay without ever leaving the resort. New for fall 2016 we have added Holland grills for your outdoor cooking pleasure. For the times that you do have to venture into Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the national park our convenient location is priceless. We are just 3 miles from the parkway in Pigeon Forge where you will find major restaurants, outlet malls, and supercenters for all your grocery needs. Our guest info book in the cabin even gives you short cuts on the back roads. We can get you to the national park without EVER getting into the traffic that can occur on the Pigeon Forge Parkway!

The cabin was beautiful! We had a family of 5 and it was perfect! The game room was the best when you have 3 kids kept them occupied at night. Hot tub was great loved how the mountains were in your view it was the perfect get away! The view was stunning from back and front porch! Very clean and close to everything we had planned! Had no issues with anything! Very satisfied and would definitely come back!
Nice cabin get away
We had a great time visiting the area. Was able to hike, white water raft and zip line in the mountains. The weather was great. The cabin was nice and a good size for our small family. The owners were very quick to respond when we had a question about the hot tub - which was very much appreciated.
Great weekend stay!
This cabin was great! It was clean and bright. The kids loved the games and hot tub. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the only 2 bathrooms are located in a bedroom. So whoever was sleeping upstairs had to go into a bedroom and disturb the people sleeping to use the bathroom. It wasnt all that convenient, but for the weekend we managed. And also this particular cabin only had like 6 forks and about 20 spoons so for breakfast we had to rotate in shift so we had enough forks for people to eat with. Other than that it was a great place. Good views. It's off the beaten path a ways, but once you learn the way back and forth to town it only takes about 10-15 mins.
Best family vacation ever.
We had such a great time. The cabin was so conveniently located to all attractions yet very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck sipping coffee in the morning and soaking in the hot tub after a long day at night. The view was beautiful. It was so clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We saved money by eating in and it was so much more healthy. My grandkiddos enjoyed the game tables. They did not want to leave.
Beautiful scenery, romantic, and cozy.
Very clean, well taken care of and made us feel like we were at home. Thank you again for allowing us to experience the happy trail!
We loved it ❤️
We loved everything about this cabin. It was very clean and roomy. It had everything we needed in it. The beds were very comfy. The kids enjoyed the game tables and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The indoor heated pool was a plus. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. We will be coming back to stay here again soon. We have stayed at a lot of cabins in pigeon forge and Gatlinburg and never went back to them because they just weren’t clean. But this cabin was so clean and neat. I give it a 5 ⭐️!!!
