All Seasons is a luxurious home that has all personalities covered. This 2nd row house is located accross from beach access and tucked in the trees. There’s a master bedroom on the first floor overlooking the pool, with a wooded area that gives a sense of privacy and seclusion. Another master bedroom is located on the second floor with views of the ocean. Three levels of decks and porches face the Atlantic, so you can catch fresh ocean breezes and taste the salt air, whatever floor you’re on. Classic details inside and out insure your time here makes the most of “All Seasons” in Folly Beach. It's conveniently located to downtown Folly on the more private west side of the island. It offers under building parking, elevator access and of course the pool. The downstairs area has plenty of seating for your group. There is a washer and dryer room on the first floor and another one on the 2nd floor of this home. The third floor is perfect for the kids or to enjoy a lazy afternoon while looking at the ocean waves. There is an entertainment room on the 3rd floor as well with a wet bar and big flat screen TV for your entertainment. Beautiful views, fine tasteful decor and privacy are the most important elements of this sophisticated beach home that you will not find anywhere else on Folly Beach.

Wonderful!

We have rented this beautiful house twice in the past three years, and each time we have been delighted with the house. It is tastefully decorated and attractively furnished. We love the fact that the house has two dishwashers because we have been large groups each time we rented (15 people). We have rented many houses in many states, and we always think of this Folly Beach house as our ideal rental. No other property has ever lived up to it. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful views, great location

A few days prior to our arrival, I also received a similar email to the previous reviewer that the third floor shower was out of service. This posed a problem for us also because we rented the house at a nice premium for ALL of the amenities. With 1/2 of the sleeping area without a shower this caused some issues during our stay.

On Monday night, the AC stopped working on the third floor (5 beds) and the temps rose to about 87*. The manager told us the plumber would be by sometime but that she couldn't make it to the house and to just leave a key for him! Are you kidding me? I don't feel comfortable just leaving a key and possibly coming back to a cleaned our house. So we wasted a day by waiting for the plumber to come and fix the AC. When he arrived, he was extremely pleasant and informed us that he responds to the house regularly because the HVAC system isn't maintained by the owners and it clogs up. He was in and out within 15 minutes! In my opinion, the managers should put in some money for maintenance and repair work (peeling paint, minor Sheetrock work, knobs on dressers falling off, loose door handles) for the price you pay to stay at the house.

The rest of the week was great. We rented the house with family for our wedding and the first floor is very open and had our rehearsal dinner there. Great kitchen (just bring food and drinks...everything else is there).

The pool is a little small and shallow (5' max), but it was a huge hit with everyone who stayed at the house. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach before entering the pool or house. The only thing I'd suggest is that they put in a bathroom in the garage so you don't track pool water into the kitchen to use the main floor half bath. The backyard and pool area was extremely private.

The garage was huge and the elevator was a great amenity. In our arrival email, I was given the key box code for one house key. We later found another key in the kitchen. We had to request the code to open the garage doors and the rear door to the pool. Maybe the manager could include this in future guests emails. I would also include some instructions for the sound system.

The bedrooms were spacious. The linens were fresh and new. There were no strange odors in the house. Very clean house.

Overall our stay was good and I'd stay again.

Expensive for - peeling exterior paint, inoperable bath, & bats in the pool area - Needs TLC

This is a big house and that is why we rented it. We needed 7 bedrooms and 7 baths. A day or two before arriving we received an email that one of the bathroom shower/tubs was inoperable but it would be fixed the day after we arrived. We were there a week and it was never fixed. A tacky "Do Not Use" sign was just taped on the tub.

Another bathroom below the one out of use had a 6' x 6' hole cut out of the sheetrock for what I am to assume was to try to fix the other bathroom above.

A plumber had to come one day for a bathroom sink that wouldn't drain.

The exterior trim work needs to be painted. Peeling white paint on all of the rails and trim. Not really what you expect to pull up to for a premium very expensive weekly rental.

There is a big problem with bats back by the pool that needs to be resolved.

The house is nice and big. The kitchen is perfect for a large group. It has a huge working island. However, the living room should seat more than 8 people in a house for 17. The TV in the living room is WAY to small for the space. I think it is probably a 32" TV.

I think the owner of the house must not visit it often or certainly they would correct issues so simple like peeling paint, etc. A broker bathroom I guess can happen but if it does the owner should offer to compensate the renter as we paid a hefty premium for this house with the assumption that ALL items advertised would be functional and that wasn't the case.

I will update this review assuming the owner makes right on this.

My family came from Wisconsin & Massachusetts, and we had such a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and has everything anyone could ever want in a vacation home. We got a ton of use out of the ping pong table and the pool! Thank you so much for keeping such a beautiful home.

In addition to the wonderful home, the service was fantastic. All of our questions were answered and requests granted (as possible.).

Thank you, again, for a wonderful vacation experience. Well worth the money!

Even Better than Expected!

Simply wonderful! Our best rental experience yet. The home is stunning! The photos do not do it justice. It has a wonderful open floor plan, incredible ocean views, and large, inviting front porches. It is beautifully decorated and very well kept. Clean and the best equipped rental property we've ever experienced. More than enough space for large families. If a day on the beach isn't enough, a nice inviting pool awaits. Can't think of a better home on Folly to relax, enjoy the ocean, and time with family. Thank you for making this wonderful home available to us.
