About Nan Stephens

We bought this wonderful home in 2003. It had been used as a vacation rental since it was built in 1998. We just loved it so much, we couldn't move out! We think you will love it too!

Beautiful views!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay! Cabin is located close to everything we wanted to see and had everything we needed. Located in a beautiful, quaint little town - we would take evening walks to feed the geese. Will definitely be back!!

Nice town

  • 4 of 5

It was nice and clean, well equipt but could use a few easy chairs in the living room, since it only had a couch and was advertised for six to seven people. We ended up bring the patio furniture in to sit on. But over all it would be ideal for four adults and two children.

Peaceful beautiful setting!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful setting of the lodge. It was perfect and close to everything you would want to do/see in the area or to simply relax and take in the beauty of the nearby hiking trails or the lovely pond in the center of town. Breakfast at The Pantry is a must....so delish!

The unit has everything you could need for a memorable stay and was a great fit for our party of 4 adults. Not to mention, the owner is as sweet as can be and very accommodating.

Wonderful cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Colorado. This cabin was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location! Nan was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. There were several trails we walked to from our cabin and the pantry (also walking distance) had great breakfast. We hope to stay here again in the future. We would highly recommend!

Loved the stay here. The owners were available, but not intrusive. I would rent again in a heart beat.

FANTASTIC STAY!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and our three children stayed for two nights at Buffalo Sunrise Lodge. The house is spacious, well-kept and lovely; included two bedrooms, two full baths, washer and dryer and a kitchen with anything you may need. The deck on the front of the house was perfect any time of the day and overlooks the lake/gazebo in Green Mountain Falls. The town of Green Mountain Falls is a little village and is incredibly charming and friendly. We enjoyed eating at the Pantry (delicious breakfast!) and the Blue Moose for live music and dinner just a short walk down from the house. We also hiked from the house to two nearby waterfalls and the view from the top was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better family vacation, and we hope to come again to Buffalo Sunrise Lodge! Would recommend for families or a girls/guys trip to anyone. Nan was friendly and responsive - everything we needed was provided to us in the home. Thank you!
