We renovated this property with one thing in mind....To create a relaxing, uplifting space for people to feel the Aloha of Maui. Please come and join us. Paia has it all! Organic food store and restaurants, Bank, Post Office, Business Center, Public Transit, Yoga, massage/chiropractic/acupuncture, coffee shops, Bicycle rental, boutiques, hair solon, gas stations, art galleries, internet cafe's and skate park. Paia is the last stop for supplies before taking the long road to Hana. Mangolani is a few minutes drive to Mama's Fish House and Ho'okipa State Beach (world class windsurfing and kiteboarding) and another 10 min drive to the World Famous Big Wave Spot call 'Jaws' aka Peahi. Mangolani is situated in a perfect location to experience the best of Maui.

We have a 7 night minimum to rent the upstairs house. If you don't need all 5 bedrooms we will rent the house as a 4 bedroom as the 5th room is a lock-out unit. If you only want 4 bedrooms the price is $150 less. Cleaning fee is $250 for 4 bedroom and $300 for 5 bedroom
If you track in excess sand we will add on another $50 to the cleaning fee. Cancelation less than 30 days is non refundable.

Paia is the best little beach town on Maui, and recently nominated the 'Happiest Beach Town in America'. It's often overlooked by the mainstream travelers that get sucked into the tourist treadmill of Wailea, Kihei, Kaanapali, and Lahaina. Paia has 'old Hawaii' feeling. No corporate chain stores and strip malls. It's all mom and pop style shops and restaurants. Most of the restaurants offer organic foods grown locally and you will also find the best Health Food store on island here in Paia. Mana Foods.
There are eclectic shops full of all kinds of unique merchandise you won't find anywhere else. In Paia you can take a yoga class, get a massage, go for a surf, eat healthy, and meet some of the nicest people on island. 'There is music in the cafe's at night and revolution in the air.'

About the owner: Aloha, I'm Dave. I grew up in Southern California as anxious surfer wanting to find the perfect wave. Every year traveling to Hawaii and never wanting to leave, but my 'job' always kept me stuck in LA. Finally one day in 2004 I decided I could not let my dreams be just dreams, and I quit my job, sold my house, and moved to Maui. My dream was to surf the biggest waves in the world, and create a relaxing tropical sanctuary to call home. This dream has become a reality...I got some huge waves! and... 'MangoLani Inn was born. I met the girl of my dreams and now we have an amazing son named Max. We hope to share our slice of paradise and the sprit of Aloha with you! Dave, Max and Nyla
Why the Owner Chose Paia, HI, USA:
I chose this property because of its size and location. It's a nice sized lot compared to others around us. 15,600 sq ft. The location is great! 10 min to airport or less. 10 min walk to Paia town and 15 min walk to the beaches. We are surrounded by sugar cane fields so there are not many neighbors. Great ocean views looking over swaying cane grass. The trade winds are always blowing here too so it's like natural air conditioning. Paia sits on the edge of the 'dry belt' meaning we don't get nearly as much rainfall as properties in Haiku area only a 15 min drive east. Sometimes it rains for a week there and it's sunny here all week.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We have 2 huge mango trees and a giant avocado tree. Bananas and Papaya's grow like weeds! Starfruit, mountain apple, pineapple, surinam cherries, and passion fruit can be picked also. We have 3 really nice dogs and cat that are always happy to meet new people. A new Yoga Studio and organic cafe just opened a few doors up the street at the Historic Paia Train Depot. It's called Maui Yoga Shala and Island Fresh Cafe.....Namaste
