Let me tell you about our Christmas stay in a delightful rental in Flagstaff, Arizona. The home is what I would Call English Cottage architecture, richly appointed with oak trim and wainscoting throughout. No expense was spared to promote both comfort and design everywhere you looked. From the warm comfort of the zone controlled in floor heating, to the well done touches of granite counters, fully electric appliances, including 2 dishwashers all in a well lit and smartly laid out kitchen. The three bedrooms are upstairs, with two delightful full baths. Also upstairs, a very nice and useful well-lighted laundry room was found to more than meet our needs. The master bedroom is huge with gorgeous oak built-in, mirrored cabinetry, and very comfortable king sized bed. Bravo to the large master bath, complete with soaking tub and an oversized shower with two heads. Truly a tasteful touch, that master bath. The other bedrooms are only slightly smaller, yet warm and tasteful and share the second full bathroom. Upstairs abounds with warm oak flooring and the entire staircase is a masterpiece resplendent with oak paneling and an artful chandelier. I found the upstairs porch afforded both a breath of fresh air and a handsome view of the pines and the charming neighborhood. In the comfort of the living room, seated in rich leather couches, one can’t help but soak up the warmth of the stone, floor to ceiling fireplace. All this and a full entertainment center with big screen T.V. and movies and super sound system. This is a super home for just relaxing or entertaining. A real family pleaser to say the least. The garage is fully finished, clean and orderly. Your car will appreciate it. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay again. I highly recommend this home and found the owners to be both accommodating and friendly. Very sincerely, Wayne.

Our 2 families of 4 adults and 4 kids had a great time here. Flagstaff is a great base location to explore Grand Canyon, Sedona, Antelope Canyon, Petrified Forest... The house was very clean at check in. The host was very responsive to our questions and request. Overall a very pleasant 4-night stay for our group. Don't forget to visit the nearby Walnut Canyon National Monument. It was a nice surprise side trip for our vacation.
the house was nice and we enjoyed our stay for the most part. the two complaints that we all had were that the locks on the doors don't work and this made getting some privacy difficult in the bedrooms and about the pool table. the rails on the pool table are totally dead and provide zero bounce which was a big bummer for us as we were really looking forward to playing pool. if privacy in the bedrooms is not important and playing pool isn't a priority for you I'd highly recommend this house.
It's not always easy travelling with a group of eight but this property really made it a pleasure (three showers and always enough hot water!). The house is very nice and in a very nice neighborhood. When we weren't roaming, we ordered take out, read books (loved the porch swing), watched the NHL Playoffs, and enjoyed each other's company. It was the perfect spot to go to Sedona one day, the Grand Canyon the next, and so on. We put on a lot of miles doing day trips but got to see way more than we had expected. The restaurants, breweries, and shopping in Flagstaff were great too. The correspondence prior to the trip was punctual and helpful. We had to contact the owners when we arrived as the heat wasn't working, however they contacted us right away and walked us through it. We replaced a battery in one of the smoke detectors and the light bulb in the refrigerator, but those were things that we would have done at home (and it felt like home) and the house is located so close to groceries and hardware that it was no big deal. Lastly, our deposit was returned in a very timely manner. I would not only recommend this property but would also rent it again if ever in the area.
This was a wonderful " homebase" for our spring break vacation. Beautiful house with a nice view of the mountain and very easy drives to many attractions in the state. The accomodations and space were great for our family of five, and our 3 teens loved the pool table! We would seriously consider staying at this home again if we return to Arizona and would recommend for a family.
We had a great time in Flagstaff as this as our homebase. From here we drove down to Sedona, went to the Grand Canyon, and took a day trip to Page, AZ. Overall this house met our expectations perfectly. Trust the owner when he says to set the heat to 65 as the ambient heat gets warm quite quickly. Also check out the creole restaurant Satchmo's while in town. There are some great places to eat and drink around the area.
This property is located in a quiet Flagstaff neighborhood yet very close to movie theater, restaurants & shopping areas. Short drive to downtown, easy access to freeway, and all that the Flagstaff area has to offer! The owners are very helpful and responsive to questions. Would recommend this property, especially for a family.
Minutes from shopping, dining, Harkins movie theater, NAU and charming downtown Flagstaff. Hiking, walking and/or biking paths nestled thru-out the city as well as in the wilderness outside of town. With surrounding pine trees, mountains, canyons, lakes, rivers, as well as nearby BEARizona wildlife attraction, Pioneer Historical Museum & Lowell Observatory this town is an outdoors lover's dream!
