Wonderful Home

  • 4 of 5

We were greeted with a lovely log home; spacious, clean and comfortable. It was even better than I had expected.

The home is in the center of Hungry Horse, a very small town. Surrounding properties are a bit unsightly, and certainly do not compare to this fine home. We had no problems of any type related to the property or the location.

Our only disappointment was the smoke/haze from fires at this time of year in this part of the country, and in the National Park, but that is unrelated to this property.

Lovely home in a very good location central to West Glacier, Hungry Horse, and Whitefish

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful property. 3 upstairs bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, satellite television for the evenings for the children. It is very close to the local tavern in town and very close to the East Hungry Horse Reservoir. About a 10 minute drive to West Glacier entrance. Very near many activities and restaurants. Such a nice, clean home and the property owner Joe was just great to work with. He was very responsive and professional. We would definitely stay again and want to thank the owner for such a lovely stay.

Great location to launch your Glacier National Park adventures!

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the log cabin house and Joe's hospitality. The kitchen has pretty much everything you will need and the beds are super comfortable. Not much in Martin City... but this house is only 10 minutes away from West Glacier. If we go back to Glacier again, we will definitely stay at this house.

Joe even took us to the Amtrak train depot since some of our family members left early and we needed a ride! Super place... super host! Don't be afraid of staying here!

Great Log House

  • 5 of 5

The house was super clean, spacious & the owner, Joe, was very responsive & helpful. We slept with the windows open & got to wake up to the roosters. (I loved that!) The location was great & allowed us to get to Glacier Park easily right when it opened. The house itself is located along an old highway, so it's got some history around it including a saloon across the street. We wandered over there for a few hours one night & met some of the locals. It's off the beaten path & quiet.

There is a medium sized grocery store a few miles away & several restaurants to choose from. The house has a good size yard for the kids to play & a fire pit for roasting s'mores. We had a fantastic week here & would totally recommend this place.

Comfortable and spacious log cabin

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay in this beauty of a log cabin. It’s so spacious and the mountain decor was great. The queen beds—amazing! The kids loved the roomy basement living area and bedroom. Joe was welcoming and super helpful. Definitely recommend! We loved the fire pit and you must try The Trap Line for breakfast.
