The cabin was easy to find and represented well by the photos. Cute, cozy and in a lovely location. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Donna was very flexible and the cleaning rules were easy to follow. I would recommend!

Cozy

  • 5 of 5

We decided on a trip last minute and I can't thank VRBO & this rental enough for the convenience of booking it and the accommodations were even better. The cottage was clean, comfortable & hall the amenities you needed. I would love to stay there in the middle of a snow fall-and still might. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, & the kitchen had everything you needed. I would stay here again!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed some amazing and precious time with our grandson in this cozy cabin! We were able to have our daughter and son-in-law join us as well as an additional couple for one night. There was plenty of room on a rainy weekend to lounge while waiting for rain to pass by. We were able to experience the area through a variety of hikes and visiting the town of Salida was a highlight, as well. Overall - a perfect experience!

Cute, Inexpensive, Lots of Beds but only one is comfortable

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed the cabin for one night as it is in an area where you can walk to a stream and it has easy access to highway 50. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and the grill on the back porch worked well. We enjoyed sitting in the large gathering room after dinner.

The down side was the outdoor porches were very small so sitting together outside was tight. The bathroom is old but the kitchen had modern refrigerator, range and microwave. There is a flat screen tv which we didn't use. The bedrooms have a total of 5 beds, but the largest beds are "full size" so difficult to comfortably sleep two adults. One of the beds had a comfortable, newer mattress, but it was also only a full.

We left after the first night. It was just not comfortable enough to sleep two nights for us. Our group had two people in their 50's and two in their 80's. If you are looking for an inexpensive cabin, with a need to sleep at least five people who are not particular about the quality of beds, or perhaps younger than us, you would be fine.

The overall experience was exactly what we were hoping for! The cabin was well kept, good layout, and perfectly located between mountains and town. Would recommend and look forward to renting again.
