Convenient and cozy are the watchwords of our Ocean Village Club C12 condo. Located on the ground floor of a family-oriented beachfront condo complex, it's just a hop from your private parking space -- no stairs! Treat yourself to a little bit of paradise!
The living room is flooded with light from two directions, but can become completely private when the shades are drawn. Sliding-glass doors lead into our airy condo, which offers a tempting sink-right-down couch that converts to a sleeper. It faces the TV and DVD player, so be sure to bring some of your favorite movies and a few packs of popcorn for one of those snug stay-at-home evenings! (There is also free wireless Internet service at the Club House)
Between the living area and the kitchen is our glass-topped dining table, which seats 4 for dinner or board-game marathons. It's also a good size for the computer, so if you need a work or study blitz, consider that a week at Ocean Village Club C12 is less expensive than a couple nights in a full-service hotel . . . and with so much more to offer, from the beach to the Intracoastal Waterway to all the amenities of our condo community!
If you're traveling with small children or simply enjoy cooking, our complete kitchen will delight you. From the full-sized fridge, stove, and sink to the dishwasher, microwave, blender, ice maker, and coffee maker, we’ve got it all, right on hand. Plenty of cupboard space keeps your groceries out of sight, while gleaming counters offer all the room you need to prepare a feast!
Relax in style in the master bedroom. Our queen-sized bed may just tempt you to sleep in every morning, and his-and-her lamps enable you to stay up late finishing that novel you've finally gotten the chance to enjoy, while your partner sleeps undisturbed. Our en-suite full bathroom offers a tub as well as a shower, and plenty of space for all your make-up and shaving gear. A stacked washer and dryer alongside the bathroom ensure that you've got fresh clothes every day, not to mention soft and fluffy towels for beach and pool!
Ocean Village Club C12 includes a private patio for al fresco dining. Sit in the gentle sea breeze and enjoy the wheeling shorebirds and spectacular sunsets of this choice oceanside resort. Tomorrow you can drive to a theme park, museum, historic site, fine restaurant, or world-class shopping, but tonight you're at home in a little corner of paradise.
Actually, you'll find plenty to do right at our Ocean Village Club condo complex. Brand-new tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, and two swimming pools keep everyone happily occupied. One of our pools even has a view of the ocean! The other, located beside our busy Clubhouse, is heated in winter, so you can enjoy a relaxing dip no matter what the weather's doing.
Our Clubhouse also contains a fitness center with the latest exercise equipment, a lending library you're more than welcome to use, and a guest computer just in case you need to check your social media or send a few emails to the gang back home.
When it's time to explore the beach, use our private walkway over the dunes. It delivers you right to the soft sands, which are the perfect playground for all ages. Whether you're a surfer, sunbather, beachcomber, or sandcastle-builder, you'll find the ideal mix of fun and relaxation on our beach. And should you ever tire of the Atlantic, the Intracoastal Waterway is close at hand with fascinating nature trails and miles of inlets to explore on foot or by watercraft!
At Ocean Village Club you're just 5 miles south of historic St. Augustine, with terrific shopping and fine dining. Don't forget to visit the Alligator Farm, lighthouse, and museums. Or perhaps your travels are taking you to Disney World, Marine Land, Kennedy Space Center, and other family attractions. Your home away from home at Ocean Village Club C12!
Only one pet is allowed per Ocean Village Club rules.

Dated but comfortable
The property definitely needs to be updated - especially the kitchen cabinets, but overall it suited our needs.
Ocean Village C12
Condo is a short walk to the ocean and the first floor level is a plus. Condo area is really nice and friendly. Condo is cute but needs updating: Should be listed as 2 person, not 4. Pull out couch mattress was awful and needs replacing. Cupboards needs replacing as they stick and some have duct tape to secure. Walls need repainting as they are chipped throughout the condo.
Awesome stay and the Condo was nice
There is a problem with the living room blinds and the bedroom blinds. Some slats were missing and didn't give much privacy at night. Had to drap towels just for that. Called maintenance and no one ever showed up. Guess they forgot us. Other than that, it was a Great stay with my family during my birthday weekend!
Vacation Rental Pro's Horrible, OVC, Fantastic
The Ocean Village Club itself was wonderful. However, the number of issues we had almost made this vacation horrible. First, the condo is contracted out to an off site rental service called Vacation Rental Pro's. Which boggles my mind, because I thought VRBO was rentals by owner only.
So, here is the list of issues with this company.
First, misleading, tons of hidden fees, my final $ was almost $200 more than quoted. I received 9 phone calls after making the reservation, because they were unaware I was already set. After our condo was paid in full a letter with check-in, directions, and additional info was supposed to be emailed. I called two weeks before our arrival date to remind them I still had not received any email. Also, the app for the company does not work. VRP was also supposed to leave keys and a code in a lock box. We received the card to enter the complex, but no code. Had to call maintenance on a Sunday. Upon entering the condo shit hit the fan. Blood was on the toilet, dirt coated the tub, and sink; the screens had rips in them; the patio furniture was completely unusable due to being rusted through; we were not supplied with the promised materials to make the pull out couch, even though they knew it was two adults and two kids; it smelled like cat urine; and my favorite, Mold in the corner of the bedroom, on the ceiling. (I have pictures!)
So, with two children needing to use the restroom immediately, and finally being in Florida, I decided to just clean the place, go get the supplies on Monday, and make my complaint then. Well, when I let the secretary know about these issues, she just looked at me like, so what. Finally talked to a manager, was supposed to receive email on Tuesday for some sort of compensation. Thursday rolls around, and we still didn't hear anything. So I called to ask. The nightmare began. I was cut off three times in one hour before I finally went to the office. They blamed it on the phone system, then manager was going to personally call me in 30 mins. 4 hours later, and a small threat to call better business bureau and the health department, got me a "I'll have an answer by tomorrow." FRIDAY, our departure date. Well, we got $80 back. Their customer service is horrible, and they try to blame the customer. Some of our super friendly neighbors gave us tips for the future. Do not rent from VRP, they are a monopoly, their units are all run down and they don't care. I am not proud of the words I used. Beware!
Our stay in C12
We really enjoyed OVC, but not the condo. The condo could be very nice if it would be updated.
Property was good furniture very uncomfortable!!!
And for day trips, historic St. Augustine is minutes away, with fine restaurants and shopping as well as sightseeing. Orlando is less than a 2-hour drive in one direction, while Daytona is even closer in another. You'll find plenty to do in this part of Florida, and you can look forward to comfort and relaxation.
