The Hideaway is the perfect getaway in gorgeous Door County! This end unit is quiet and private.The large great room/kitchen is light and bright with vaulted ceiling, skylights, and a wall of windows that open onto a full deck. Enjoy the quiet woods (except for the birds) and a view of Green Bay waters with your morning coffee. Three bedrooms, each with a private full bath make this an ideal place for more than one couple to share.

You are a short walk to the town beach, tennis courts, marina, general store, and restaurants. The northern part of the county is a little less busy. There are miles of quiet roads to bike on, beautiful trails to hike, and a stunning coastline to explore. Short drives will bring you to cute shops, gourmet restaurants, outdoor professional theater and music.

If you must bring work to do, wireless internet comes free of charge. The Hideaway is the perfect starting place to enjoy all Door County has to offer……..or to just relax and do nothing!

Floor Plan Description:

Enter into the vestibule of the condo. Here you'll find a powder room and the entrance to the utility room with washer & dryer. Straight ahead is a hallway to two queen bedrooms, each with private full bathroom and entrance to a shared patio. From the vestibule you will go upstairs to the open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is straight ahead of you after you reach the second floor, and the living room is directly to your left while the dining room is in front and to your left. The entire water side (to your left) of the house is windows, so both the dining room & living room have gorgeous views, which you can also enjoy from the second floor patio (entrance from living room). The upstairs bedroom is on the opposite side of the house (to your right after you ascend the stairs); it has a king bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Beautiful. A few items lacking as compared to others we have stayed.

Very pretty and roomy. Needs a few more items in kitchen, serving plates, large bowls, wire whisk. Did not like the fact of leaving towels in the dryer with it running. Would never do that at home. One set of sheets in downstairs bedroom were stained. Kitchen faucet loose. Toilet in downstairs right bedroom loose. Blinds in the other bedroom in the downstairs broken. Needed extra blankets as they did not want us to use the comforter as they would have to wash and it would cost us. Just make the beds with both sheets like you normally would. Also more helpful to have dishes i dishwasher and have that running when we left. Would be clean when the cleaners arrived to put away. Hard to do dishes by hand if we had to have all the towels in the washer and drying before we left. For those that want to stay and not cook a lot all is good. My guests and myself all cook and needed a few more items. Again, is a beautiful home, quiet area. Would I stay again, yes but would bring some extra things. Thank you.

clean, spacious, and quiet

The condo was very clean, well-suited space-wise to our needs (each bedroom had its own on-suite bathroom), and very quiet. No real harbor views but secluded and peaceful. Bright with natural light and very open. A beautiful vacation get-away!

Our favorite post-holiday get-a-way.

For the past 2 years, after the last of our family Christmas celebrations, my husband and I have left directly for Ellison Bay and have stayed in this townhouse for a week. It has been the most relaxing way to decompress after the hectic holiday season. And, as the week goes on, we are slowly joined by my parents and brother and sister-in-law.

The townhouse is beautiful, bright and open. The main level is set within the treetops and provides an excellent view of Green Bay in winter. It is the perfect place to hangout with a cup of coffee and work on a puzzle all morning. The kitchen is spacious and open to the living area. Each bedroom has its own full bath and lots of privacy.

We love to go to the Viking Grill for breakfast and the Mink River Basin is the best place to watch the last Packer game of regular season. If conditions permit, we enjoy getting out on the snowshoeing/cross country skiing trails that are close by. Of course, we do a little shopping and dining and the vacation wouldn't be complete without some bowling in Sister Bay.

The manager is easy to work with and very friendly. It has just been the perfect escape from all things stressful.

We love the Hideaway!

We've stayed at your condo on two separate occasions and love it. Yes, it's a little poke up here, but well worth it. Although the furniture is rudimentary, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything a person might need. We also were pleased with how clean, bright, roomy, and private it is, and the views are beautiful. We plan on returning soon.

The photos are just what you will see

We spent a week here August 2011. The units are beautiful, the quality of the construction, lighting and finish on the wood work is outstanding. Looking at the photo of the exterior you know this is a two story unit...the living quarters are on second floor along with the master bedroom...all have sky lights and it is bright and beautiful...good thing we had our son and grandson with young legs to bring everything up. We had invited another couple to join the 5 of us at the end of the week because this slept 6-8. It really does not unless you bring your own sleeping bags and bedding. The couch does not open into a bed so you would need to sleep on the couch as it sits and they did not provide bedding for this. There was one single air mattress with a sleeping bag. This additional space really was not suitable for 7 or 8 adults.

Yes, the master bedroom and the living area, kitchen, and dining room are all on the upper level to take advantage of the view, so the unit is not suitable if stairs are hard for you; however, it is not a hard stairway so you shouldn't feel deterred by this feature. The three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a king bed are the only true sleeping areas - we allow up to eight to stay at the unit but as the reviewer stated, the other two people are on the couch or on an air mattress which is not ideal for four couples, but it is absolutely perfect for three couples and works for up to eight people. Thanks again!
