About Lynna Youngerman

I am a retired teacher who loves to spend time in Mammoth. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places. My main residence is in southern Orange County - the best of two worlds

Lynna Youngerman purchased this condo in 1994

Why Lynna Youngerman chose Mammoth Lakes

Our family purchased the condo because we were spending at least two weeks a year here and were looking forward to spending tons more time without mooching off of our friends who owned other properties. We love the area and keep finding more fun things to do here.

What makes this condo unique

Snow covered peaks, fresh air, awesome downhill trails and beautiful lakes are all waiting to be discovered. A favorite day: Wake up, get coffee, warm up with a walk, grab breakfast and you are set for riding, skiing, skating, or shopping and lunch.....whatever. The afternoon is to finish what you started in the morning. After any of the above activities jacuzzi and sauna or a relaxing massage followed by dinner at Nevado's or another of the fine dining places in town, and then a great night's sleep in the mountain air. Repeat the next day.

Great location, clean and well maintained

  • 5 of 5

A really nice condo in a great location to walk to the village and catch the Blue Line to get to Canyon Lodge. The walk back from the village was slightly uphill, but manageable. The underground parking is also a big plus. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. The condo is in building C and the jacuzzi is in building A, so getting back to the condo afterwards was a bit of an adventure. Even though you can cut through buildings A & B with minimal outside exposure it's still cold. The other jacuzzi which may have been closer to our unit was closed for repairs. Also wish the condo had the little fire bricks to get the wood started in the fireplace, but not having a fire was not a big deal. The locker downstairs was also convenient instead of leaving your board or skis in the car or taking them into the condo.

It was really easy to work with Lynna and I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to others.

Perfect for us

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed in numerous ski condos and this was our favorite. Having a garage directly downstairs was a huge bonus during a blizzard! The beds are amazingly comfortable and we love having a CA King and the kids are happy to have their own real beds. We cooked all our dinners and the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of room for having a few friends over for my son's birthday. Very roomy for a family of four.

" DOC "

  • 5 of 5

REFRESHINGLY COMFORTABLE AND CONVENIENT. Obvious thought given to anticipating the renters' needs as we lacked for nothing during our stay. Shuttle bus outside your door, or a short walk to the "happening section" of town for the upscale shops, restaurants, and lounges. We ate at a different, good, restaurant for each of our 7 nights in this area. Easy access to the natural attractions , i.e. Devils Post Pile , trout lakes, etc., and the ski gondola leaves from the center of the above downtown area." Rockstar" parking space directly under the unit and completely adequate storage for your " stuff ".

The unit is fresh and clean and everything works.....very easy to let down, enjoy and relax in. We will definitely be going back. Nice job Lynna and Shala

Super location. Helpful owner.

  • 5 of 5

Liked everything about this unit. Hard to find a better value at Mammoth for two couples. Bus to godola, right out front. Parking was excellent, with enough clearance for our Outlander with a ski box on top. Ski locker close to parking spot.

After booking unit, owner kept in contact even sending discount pass information. Owner works hard to make sure you have everything you need including local information.

Had one incident where the neighbours did a poor job of starting a fire and set off the smoke alarm. Matter quickly resolved by cond owners daughter, who also lives in building.

Took an after ski drive to Wild Willie's hot springs. As with most wild hot springs a very bohemian experience. Lots of friendly interesting people there. Well worth the drive and hike. Bring thongs or sandals. and extra towels.

Two frugal foreign couples found this unit to be an excellent value and we could ask for nothing more. (except more towels :)

Best location!

  • 5 of 5

I have been to Mammoth many many times. And I have to say, this condo is the best location for skiing and snowboarding. Plus we could just walk to the Village which was lots of fun. The condo is very clean, has everything you need for cooking and great parking spot too. The reading nook was a favorite by my husband and daughter who love to read. Thank you Lynna!
