About Bob Martino
I am the owner of a large construction company located in Skippack, PA. I built this home in Brigantine with quality in mind. In my spare time I enjoy fishing and visiting the beach.
Bob Martino purchased this House in 2008
Why Bob Martino chose A-Zone
I chose to build this home because of the incredible views and it's proximity to the beach, as well as the short travel to the Atlantic City Casinos.
What makes this House unique
There are many wonderful qualities about this home. I enjoy the many outside decks, watching the sun rise over the ocean while I have my coffee and read the paper. It's only a few steps to the beach (not blocks). The kitchen is fully functional to cook the catch of the day or a tasty pasta meal. It's a family friendly destination, yet there is night life nearby for those wanting a fun bar. There are great restaurants and shopping.

Our favorite place in Brigantine!
We've stayed here for a few years now and most recently rented the home for two full weeks. The location is ridiculous; you're two houses from the beach, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and grocery/convenient stores. The outdoor porches are perfect for listening to the ocean while lounging and relaxing morning, noon and night. The house is very clean and spacious, with plenty of living space and bedrooms and baths for all guests. We've stayed in Brig for a number of the years and this is the best house yet; one we will continue to rent as long as we can. It's the absolute perfect shore house rental.
We shared this home with our 3 children and 2 grandchildren for two weeks. It was wonderful! The location is perfect, steps from the beach, close to grocery shopping, close to a beach bar- what else could you want? The bedrooms were very spacious, unlike some of the other homes we have rented. The porch furniture made sitting on the porch very relaxing and luxurious. We typically spend most of our time outdoors. It was great to be able to enjoy the outdoors with such great porches and porch furniture.WE LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!!!
I have rented many vacation homes and this was the best ever. It was the little touches that made it so great. The proximity to the beach was wonderful. The house was clean and inviting. The owner was pleasant to deal with. Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful vacation.
Put yourself in this story.....
Brew yourself a cup of coffee and walk out of the properly appointed modern kitchen through the dining room where last’s night’s dinner for 10 occurred and step out past the flat screen TV onto the balcony. Take in the salt-laden air and look to your left as the sun comes up over the ocean, a couple of hundred feet away. Look to your right and see the bay side with the town of Brigantine still sleeping under the sky. If you're a photographer, the view from the top level master suite may just win you a prize and the master bath is just plain stunning.
Our stay was over a breezy weekend in October after the summer crowds had departed and the fall visitors began to slide into town. A comfy two block walk down the beach is the Laguna Grill, tucked into the shadows of the art deco hotel tower that you've been puzzled about since you came over the causeway. This house is "are you kidding?" convenient.
The well-stocked market at the end of the block will have just about anything grocery item you’d need and the elevator makes deliveries to kitchens and bedrooms simple. A wine shop around the corner has just the vintage for your afternoon glass of vino. A garage holds the car or items you’d need for your day on the beach, which is a long Frisbee toss away from the front steps.
Bedrooms are well appointed and well-maintained which is often not the case. If you’ve stayed in rental homes over the years, you’ll recognize this one as thoughtfully designed with good flow, plenty of room and attractive décor all around. The obvious care of an owner should not be lost on a tenant.
You’ll enjoy this Brigantine gem and its convenient, wonderful spot on the island.
Beautiful home and perfect beach location in the heart of Brigantine...
We stayed at this property for a total of 3 weeks last summer and just booked 2 weeks for this year. Our experience was wonderful, the location is perfect...only 2 blocks away from Laguna Grill, great place to have lunch straight from the beach. You also have the bagel shop, seafood market, Italian restaurant and grocery store a block away. The house is beautifully decorated and has a great open layout. Quality construction - thick walls with rounded edges, ample balcony space with beautiful views of the ocean. The beach is quiet even during the weekend...not crowded. If you are looking for a scene AC is only 10 minutes away...most of the hotel restaurants are also open for lunch (take-out).
We have been renting upscale homes in Brigantine for the past 5 years and this is the first time we are returning to the same property...its perfect. We had a wonderful experience and are looking forward to this summer.
Do not stay in this house.
My family rented this house in August of 2011. It was poorly constructed and the owner was horrible to deal with. When we arrived the air conditioning didn't work on the 3rd floor, the elevator didn't work, the kitchen table was broken and unusable, the tv remote didnt work, the jacuzzi jets in the tub did not work, and dirty dishes were left for us. We were made to feel like we were a burden by calling and asking for these things to be fixed. The elevator wasn't fixed during our stay, the air conditioning wasn't fixed until our 3rd day there so for 2 nights people could not sleep on the 3rd floor, the kitchen table wasnt fixed, etc. Overall - this was a nightmare house with a nightmare owner. I wouldn't rent anything from this owner again!
This family rented my house through a realtor. I never had contact with the tenant until she called after I held a small portion of her security deposit. She was extremely irate.
My understanding of the events was relayed to me by the agent.
The family before this family (also rented through realtor) broke the latch on the elevator. I was notified the day of their departure and called the service to have it repaired. The first available date was 3 business days in which they arrived and fixed the service.
The agent got a call from the tenant upon their arrival that there were dirty dishes in the sink. She went to the house right away to find that they were in the dishwasher which client then said that was where she found them.
While the agent and tenant were talking, water began to pour out of the dining room ceiling. They both ran up to find tenants young son using the master bath as a swimming pool. Water was splashed everywhere. (I didn’t charge them for this incident).
The tenant also complained about third floor being warm. As soon as she arrived she had turned the thermostat to the lowest temperature (about 50) and the unit froze which is typical.
The agent called me right away about the two incidents and I called a local plumber who verified nothing was wrong with the plumbing and the tub is fine. (It is not a swimming pool) He also unfroze the A/C unit and it was working fine the next day.
This tenant also complained about the remote not working. The agent said she had witnessed them using it numerous times to change the channels.
The next tenant was a tenant who had rented before and was back for the second time that season. I got to know him well and he called me to say that the TV remote was not working and he said there was something rattling inside it. I sent the remote to the company which told me they would try to fix it. They told me someone had dropped it and it was un-repairable. I had to purchase a new $400 remote. It works many features in the house.
This complaining tenant that wrote this review about me and my house was only charged a small amount of the security deposit. The amount did not cover the cost of the plumber or the new remote.
Many families have stayed in this house and some for multiple weeks. This is the first family that was ever charged for their negligence.
