Close to downtown, this spacious high-end remodel offers a rare combination of well appointed open space and private bedrooms to all. This home has hosted as few as two as well as families for holidays, wedding visitors & reunions. The home boasts three defined spaces- master suite with a view deck and guest room, main floor living with a king suite, & garden level suites and living area. Japanese maples & towering stones grace the front courtyard with huge terra cotta pots at the entrance. Through the front door, functional art lights a wide entry with a fireplace. Custom inlaid stairs lead to the large view master suite and bath, & adjoining guest room. Dual sliders open to a 750 square foot deck that views the Cascade Mountains south to Mount Rainier. Main level holds a custom kitchen & great room. If you enjoy the preparation of food, this is your place. The granite and stainless kitchen have dual sinks, Thermador ovens, Dacor 6-burner cook top, warming drawer, separate full-size fridge/ freezer, microwave, and diamond-shaped island. Great room holds HDTV, Bose surround sound, and wireless internet and printer available. The entertainment center is designed to be used without losing interaction with anyone cooking in the kitchen. Please check out the pictures of the Spa bath; we've been told this is a highly unique vacation rental that shows even better than the pictures. We hope you get the chance to enjoy!

About LISA & ALEX BARKLEY
Hello, my name is Alex and I enjoy a good chat and friendly folks. The opportunity to induce a laugh, or even a smile brightens the day. My favorite victim is my wife Lisa, she's wonderfully patient.
LISA & ALEX BARKLEY purchased this House in 1997
Why LISA & ALEX BARKLEY chose North Admiral
I came across this house in 1997 and spent the better part of a decade with a full remodel. I loved the attractions of the neighborhood; The 'Junction' and Alki beach areas of West Seattle have unbelievable food, a high rate of supermarket saturation, easy and mostly free parking, huge views of the water, ferries, and the downtown skyline all the way to Mt. Rainier! In addition, our proximity to the heart of Seattle is very, very close; we even have a foot ferry that, in a picturesque 10 min. ride, will drop you off in Seattle's entertaining waterfront area close to the Pike Place Market.
What makes this House unique
We offer may amenities, like spices, all detergents (clothes, dish soap, and dishwasher), body soap, hand soap, many kitchen gadgets, blow dryers. Including toilet paper (3 extra rolls), compost bags, trash bags, and paper towel.

Great kitchen and good location
This was a very good value and we found the proximity to the water taxi great. We enjoyed cooking in the well-outfitted kitchen; we found everything we needed.
The owner was quite friendly and pointed out some repairs that were needed. We were not able to totally enjoy the deck with the view due to repair work to the railings. Better seating on the deck would be nice when the repairs are done. Overall, the beds were all acceptable with exception of the one on the main floor which was quite soft. Minor maintainance needs noted included a sofa leg broken and held up with books (it was supported well) and poorly draining showers. Plants needed tending to or removed and a deep clean is probably needed, but again, it was acceptable and we enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for your review.
The couch was fixed the renters all checked out. This happens from people sitting on the arm chair, Which was not their fault.
The drains just needed hair and gunk pulled out of the basement and upstairs bathroom.
The plants outside have been taken care of.
I'm sure if she was talking about the indoor or outdoor. Two of the plants are actually blooming inside. 😊
We do have some chairs and seating that will be going up on the deck after the final coat is put on. We had already pulled all of the bench seating that we had just before the renters stayed in our home. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
I stay on my cleaner to make sure extra things are done when we do not have back-to-back checkins.
Perfect size for our party of 8
We had a very nice time in Seattle staying on the West side. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. It was perfect for our group of 8 adults.
Beautiful home, great neighborhood!
Lisa was awesome! If there was ever a question about anything, she responded promptly or came by. The house itself is very beautiful and nicely updated! I would definitely stay here again! Mindy
Thank you so much for your review Mindy. You are a great, respectful group. 😄
This house satisfied all the requirements. Wonderful space, terrific location, good view, well equipped....it's got it all!
Thank you very much for your review Mary. You were a nice, respectful group.
Unique large home great for big family groups
My extended family was visiting Seattle for a wedding. We needed a large house to accommodate family members from 6 months to 85 years old. This home fit us perfectly. Everyone was very comfortable at night, and able to socialize all together on the main floor. The kitchen/family room was big enough that we could all hang out and enjoy each other's company and there was a dinning room table that fit 14 people. The house has many little nuances that made it fun and very unique. I recommend this home for anyone who has a large group and wants lots of room to come together.
Very nice house!
We loved the house! It was fully stocked with dishes, pans, spices, and other cooking essentials. Also the back patio was very nice to hang out on. I would recommend this house to large families!
