Very clean, quite and comfortable. The beach is great, good food close-
Very nice place to vacation!
Amazing and perfect for a family retreat.
We had a wonderful time at Oasis East. The views were breathtaking and the home was cozy. We enjoyed cooking meals and spending time with our family in this great beach front property. Can't wait to get back next year!
This home has a lovely view of both the gulf and the lagoon. While, as the price reflects, it is not sitting on the gulf front but you only have to walk 60 feet or so to be on the beach and (there are stickers id you go off path) The owner personally called to check on us and responded timely to our request for more towels.
The bed in the master was very comfortable. It does not have the Open floor plan that keeps the group together during meal prep etc. (the stair case is smackdab in the middle of the house). There was another group of women n the other side and we only heard them if we were outside on the porch at the same time.
Next year we voted to be directly on the beach and to have a pool and the home we reserved is 3 x the price!! (The group prefers more upscale and newer facility) As far as value this place rocks!
and of course the area is the BEST
Enjoyed Our Stay At Oasis
Extremely comfortable for our family of five. We cooked fresh seafood every night (try Goatfeathers Market a few miles down 30A) and found that the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the air conditioner worked wonderfully. The owner even called during our stay to check on us and give us his number in case we needed anything. The beaches are very private and quiet. The views from the house are amazing. From the back porch you have an unobstructed view of the beach directly in front and the natural reserve to the side. It was a unique experience to hear the crash of the waves and the chirp of crickets at the same time. We even saw deer. There are sliding glass doors everywhere. They seem newer and are nice and clean so that you had beautiful views everywhere you sat. No one occupied the other side of the house while we were there so we don't know what that would be like, but as our family grows it might be nice to rent both sides for several families. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and recommend it.
Good value for the money but don't expect new or remodeled
My wife and I and my son and his family (wife, children ages 2, 5 and 7) stayed here from July 28 through August 4. The view was fantastic, water amazing and very quiet, totally uncrowded beach. It is about a 200 yard walk to the water and a bit strenuous due to the soft sand. Beach house was OK, nothing to write home about. It was definitely dated and in some disrepair (2 yr old grandson fell through a dining room chair on his face, post on main porch balcony was missing causing a safety issue, light in downstairs shower was hanging from wires so we couldn't use it - scared to turn it on and cause a short, advertised ice machine was old and didn't work properly). We called the maintenance person about the chair and light and left our cell phone number but no one ever contacted us. However, the owners did contact us once we emailed them halfway through the week but still no maintenance person came. The owners were grateful that we told them about these things and said they would try to get them corrected at the turn after we left. We had a wonderful vacation despite these minor setbacks and were willing to accept them once we realized other places on the beach close by rented for much higher rates.
Loved the views, the beautiful white beaches, and the clear Gulf waters!
We were here the second week of May 2017 and loved this very clean, comfortable, & well appointed home! Expansive windows let in the sunshine, and great porches , screened and open extended our living area.
We loved watching the deer, and catching crabs around Alligator Lake--glad to say we saw no gators! Loved our family time and this Grayton Trace area was so quiet and peaceful! We ate most meals on the porches! Best view I ever! And enjoyed fresh seafood and Po Boys from Goatfeathers! Ate at Bud n Allies, The Bay , and Local Catch! Relaxing laid back vacay! Hated to leave! But took the peace of this week at Oasis East with us when we left and we'll hope to return soon! Thanks to the Buntin's for sharing their beautiful beach home with us! Many many thanks!
