Amazing Views... Totally Relaxing!!!

  • 5 of 5

We (my wife, 4yr old son and 7 month old daughter) drove from New York to Nova Scotia... what were we thinking?? When we arrived at the home, we were amazed with the location and the surrounding views (breathtaking sunsets). It is close enough to town where you can find everything from restaurants, supermarkets etc. but also far enough where it's quiet and tranquil. Marion was very nice and even told us where to go whale watching, how far it was, and when to actually leave the house in order to give us enough time to catch two ferries. We ended up seeing two humpback whales, mother and calf. My son's dream came true, since he loves sea life, and as a parent, couldn't have asked for a better experience. A truly wonderful stay and a gracious host. Definitely doing it again - thanks Marion!!

This is a beautiful property, with breathtaking ocean views.

We loved this house, and it was great for a girls trip. There were 5 of us, and 3 girls got the bedrooms, and the other two of us each took a couch. There were 2 cots we could have set up, but we decided we each wanted our personal space. It worked out perfectly for us, all of the appliances are very new and easy to use. My only complaint, and being located where this property is, I don't know that they can even do anything about it, is at night with 5 of us trying to get online - the internet was painfully slow. We could not stream music or movies, and it was tough to download maps, directions, and playlists to our phones from the house. This is a pretty remote area, so I imagine this is the best signal available. We just tried to do any downloading we needed to do from the wineries :) We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area, it has everything you REALLY need.

Owner's Response: The internet normally works fine as long as too many users are not online at the same time, occasionally the router has to be rebooted. It will be rebooted and checked prior to the next check in. Thanks for makingme aware, kind regards Marion

Great house for our Ladies Weekend #38 !

  • 4 of 5

Lots of room for our group of seven, we even all fit in the hot tub ! The kitchen is well stocked and a lovely spot for gathering for leisurely morning gabfests. The view is spectacular and drives in the surrounding countryside were great. The only suggestion would be an update of the sound and entertainment systems...very convoluted and difficult to access. Just a simple plug in to some speakers would be good and a straight DVD hookup so you don't have to go through the poor satellite connection would suffice. Other than that, the experience was just grand !

Owner's Response: The sound system is customized for the house and sometimes difficult for some to navigate. Glad you had fun with your group. No worries regarding broken bean pot. Accidents happen. Kind regards Marion:)

Magnificent views in a comfortable setting

  • 5 of 5

This house was spacious and in a perfect location for day trips around Nova Scotia. The house was equipped with all the amenities anyone could ask for including a very hands-on owner who answered any questions immediately, effectively and with friendliness. We would recommend this property without reservation.

Hightly recommend staying in this vacation home on the Bay

  • 5 of 5

My granddaughter was looking all through the house when we first arrived and exclaimed "I could live here forever"! This certainly was a lovely house to stay in with a beautiful view of the Bay of Fundy. Lots of room, certainly private and comfortable. I would highly recommend it! My only negative comment would be that although recycling is to be done the proper bags and

bins were not available. Hot tub was lovely and the kids loved the shuffleboard! Would certainly rebook should the opportunity arise infact my husband would love this as a

retirement home!!!!!
