Perfect place to get away from it all!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this cozy little hide-away. The beach had eroded a bit and was not as big as the pictures but the locals told us it does this naturally and will come back. The condo was even better than we expected. Very roomy with lots of mirrors that gave it an even grander feel. We stopped at the grocery store and stocked up on healthy food for our stay. Everything we needed could be found in the fully stocked kitchen. The king size bed was super comfy and the pillows were awesome - with lots of extras. The condo was clean as well as the building/property. The beach is secluded with nothing but locals and was never crowded... maybe 10 people out there at a time maximum. This is a private little cove that is great for swimming, boogie board and amateur surfing. We even saw a seal swim by one day. We climbed the small "mountain" to the south of the property and were awestruck by the view (would not recommend for anyone with fear of heights or out of shape - take water with you, its bigger than you think). To the rear, the beautiful Hawaiian mountains welcomed us every morning with the sunrise and the sunsets from the lanai were breathtaking and romantic. Everyone was super nice and the property was peaceful and quiet with families, timeshare members and tourists that just wanted to get away from the craziness of the city. We would highly recommend this place and will probably stay there again!

Owner's Response: Aloha and Mahalo for your review. We enjoyed having you and are even more pleased that you had a fantastic experience at our condo. We also love this beach for the same reasons. Each day brings something new from sunrise to sunset. We look forward to having you return.

Gorgeous beach, great condo!

  • 4 of 5

This condo has one of the best views and beaches in all of Hawaii! Perfect for our family of 3, the baby could be napping and we could be sitting on the beach with our monitor!! The pool was also nice though not heated, so it was too cool for our 4 month old. We swam in the ocean every day instead. I will say there isn't much in the area for restaurants, etc but if you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation away from the hustle of Honolulu it's a great option. The area is a bit run down and there are homeless people but the condo felt very safe and secure. Watch out for traffic, as rush hour is more like 2pm-6pm so we planned our days around that!! Overall it was a perfect getaway and we came home relaxed. We searched for a spot to buy fresh fish and found a great place called Nico's in Honolulu. Took a couple trips in just to buy some beautiful fillets!

View & privacy.

  • 3 of 5

The things this place had going for it: The view beautiful, private, quite and peaceful. Negatives: It is located a distance away from attractions. It advertises that it has air conditioning and it absolutely DOESN'T have air conditioning. So if for medical reasons if you need to get out of the heat you'll have to take a ride in your vehicle. There was not any air conditioning in any of the other units either. We choose this unit because it stated it did have air what a disappointment.

We loved our week long stay! We were celebrating our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier.

  • 5 of 5

The unit had everything we needed which was amazing. Tons of towels, snorkeling equipment, beach gear and more. Our balcony was amazing with steps to the beach. Quiet area. Very safe facility. Very engaged caretakers available for any issues. The pool and hot tub were a perfect way to relax. Our time in Hawaii was made perfect not only by the unit we rented but by the immediate attention and service to any issues we had by the property managers!! Above and beyond for sure! We hope to return again soon!! We will cherish our memories forever.

The property was absolutely beautiful!

  • 4 of 5

I highly recommend this place. It's a little slice of heaven. If u want a relaxing time and not the craziness of Waikiki then this is the place to go. The beach is everything you could want. Very few people, warm waters, great for snorkeling. We were a little caught off guard by the town not being something we are used too but it all worked out. The locals were all so nice. We ate at Coquitos, Da Crab Shack, and Hannara Restaurant. All the food was amazing. I definitely recommend trying them all. I would come back for sure! Loved it here.

The best place to stay

  • 5 of 5

I really don't want to tell others how awesome this place is. I'd rather keep it as my personal secret so it will be available to me next time I come. The location of the condo just couldn't be beat. I have stayed all over the islands and this is my favorite place and will be coming back. I love the fact that Waianae is out of the way. I hate the crowds that you find at other parts of the island. It is like being on a cruise ship. We met so many fun other guests. We did many adventures to other places on the island but we also loved just hanging out on Makaha Beach. Can't wait to go back!
