About Joelle Dussuyer
I was born in France, Lyon and I have lived in San Francisco now for 37 years. David and I got married on July 15th 2016.. We feel very lucky to have two places in Paris, this wonderful studio and a beautiful one bedroom (VRBO 33626). It has been a pleasure hosting so many nice guests throughout the last few years. I am looking forward to having you too! :)
Joelle Dussuyer purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Joelle Dussuyer chose 3rd Arrondissement
It is simply the most hip area of Paris, yet full of history, good restaurants and attractive shops. It's centrally located, walking distance to most of the main Paris museums and landmarks and easily accessible by metro. Simply the best area in town.
What makes this Apartment unique
Designed for American tourists by a French native who has lived in the States for 36years. I had you in mind. The apartment is very quiet, very comfortable, clean and beautiful. The bed is extremely comfortable. I've had several renters tell me that it is the best bed they have ever slept in. Florence and Sol, my Paris contacts are the best!

Joelle's studio apt was clean and had everything needed for our 7 day visit. It was 1 block from the pastry shop and 2 blocks from the Metro
Cafe de Musee was 4 blocks away and an excellent restaurant
Florence showed us everything and even made a taxi reservation for us. We used the Metro and Uber and both worked out well. A couple more towels would be nice.
Thanks Joelle and Florence!

Good stay, great location
We stayed 6 nights at this cute little "bijoux". Joelle was a good communicator and the apartment was exactly as shown on the listing. It is a small, ground floor studio, and it is well outfitted. The bed is comfortable, the small shower has plenty of water pressure, and it is quiet and safe. The location is perfect. The Marais has plenty of small boutique shops and lovely little French restaurants. It is very close to Metro Stations. Buses nearby (rue St. Antione) go directly to major attractions, such as the Opera House, and the D'Orsay Museum. We much preferred taking buses as they went past so many of the sites and the view from the bus was great. Picasso Museum is a short walk away. We ate at Chez Janou just a minute away from the apartment. It is a wonderful, lively authentic French restaurant. The bakery Boulangerie St Antione on rue St Antoine has ready to go delicious sandwiches and wraps from 8 am, which we often bought for later to have in a park, such as next to the Louvre. I believed the boulangerie is closed on Wednesday and Thursday. We ate in the apt. a number of nights after a long day of touring. The Monoprix, a full grocery store, about 15 minutes' walk away has good, ready to cook etc meals and groceries. Paris is an amazing city, and the convenience of this little studio apartment made our stay complete. Thank you Joelle.
Perfect for two!
We so enjoyed our visit & the property owner had excellent communication with us. We’d like to come back!! Plenty of space for two people. Merci
Joelle was very good at communicating and we received a nice welcome call from Florence the property manager. The information book provided everything you needed to know about your stay. The studio is very well appointed and the district is superb. A few minute walk to cafes, bistros, metro (which we used extensively) and shops. The vibe is very authentic Paris and we hope to return someday! Merci beaucoup Joelle!
1st time ever I used an appartment...always stay in a hotel in Paris
The light over the stove was not working and this presented a really big problem for making coffee...I did not cook but the entire area was dark.
Way smaller than I thought it was after seeing it online.
First, I want to thank you for the five star review. I am terribly sorry that we did not discover the light being out before your arrival. We work to make sure that everything is in order between each rental but we obviously missed this one. In the future please know that Florence or Sol are always available to take care of issues such as this and you could have called them to change the bulb. We hope to see you in Paris again.
MY HUSBAND AND I HAD AN EXCELLENT STAY AT MON BIJOUX IN PARIS. JOELLE THE PROPERTY OWNER WAS EXCELLENT TO COMMUNICATE WITH. THE PIED A TERRE WAS IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION, CLEAN, QUIET AND CLOSE TO THE METRO. WE WILL RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO OUR FRIENDS. GINETTE & PATRICK O'HARA
