Overview

About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Relax on the oceanfront deck in a quiet and private gated comunity. Nearby are Lincoln City and Newport which are relatively small commercial and tourist centers on the Oregon coast, just about 100 miles southwest of the state's largest city, Portland.

Timber, ferns and edible mushrooms are abundant in the coastal forests. Major steelhead and salmon rivers lace the area, and the bays are well-known for Dungeness crab. The area also lies on the Pacific migratory flyway, and migratory birds are found throughout the coastal section in spring and late summer.

Gleneden Beach is a small community just five miles south of Lincoln City, on the south side of Siletz Bay. Possibly one of the most beautiful (and uncrowded) beaches in the state, Gleneden is also home to the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort

Keywords: This is a beautiful beach house which has one entrance that separates two ocean front homes. Our home is a four bedroom home with two baths and one half bath. Step out the front door onto the spectacular Oregon beach in this gated community near Lincoln City. The house sleeps and houses comfortably eight people. The master bedroom with full bath and the guest room with full bath are on the main floor. Upstairs are a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with a queen bed. The upstairs bathroom is a half bath. There is a small sitting area between the two upstairs bedrooms. The house has a full and totally equipped kitchen. There is walking access to an 18 hole golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a spa, shopping and dining.

Why Anne Savaria chose Central Coast

We chose the Oregon coast because it is spectacular. There is golf, hiking, exploring, the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, fishing, many fine restaurants in and around the area.

What makes this house unique

The beauty of the ocean in our front yard, the sound of the waves and the long and quiet beach than runs two miles in each direction. There are seals at the north end and to the south, there are restaurants and shopping for books, clothes, ice cream and a wonderful coffee shop.

Beautiful beach front view!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the view and private beach! Kitchen was well stocked with supplied! Beds were very comfortable! Bath towels were so big and thick! Better than most hotels! Cable TV at night was wonderful! All 4 bedrooms used and it was such warm weather so we slept with windows open and loved listening to the ocean! Washer & dryer came in handy and the Shark vacuum was amazing! We used it several times to keep sand out of carpet! Lovely lovely family stay. Thank you so much!

Perfect family retreat…!

  • 5 of 5

Beach is perfect! Very few people on them. Many seals and whales! Lots to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. There were eight of us, age 83 to 22, and we all had a wonderful family time. Not a great deal of parking, but we managed and received no complaints. AAA++++…!!!
