This charming former mansion has a large sitting room, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor, with 2 outdoor terraces for taking breakfast or evening meals.

House is completley refurbished to contemporary standards with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all having been recently redecorated with contemporary beige and grey colors.

The house has a light and airy feel, cozy smaller rooms and one large living room space combine to allow privacy while still being able to host a large group in one room.

The manicured garden is spectacular, with green spaces and almond orchard, a small lake and large swimming pool. Perfect spot for a family holiday or gathering of friends.

We bought this old farmhouse 20 years ago and lived there for 10 years. We had to move back but a piece of our heart stayed at Provence.

Autumn holiday at Mas St Claude

My husband and I have just enjoyed a magnificent Autumn stay in Mas St Claude. This magnificent, fully renovated Mas is situated a short walk from the delightful village of Eygalieres, which has a number of wonderful restaurants and exudes an authentic provencal charm. Ten minutes away by car is the equally charming village of St Remy de Provence, which is larger than Eygalieres and boasts many shops and restaurants. The area surrounding the Mas is dotted with beautiful wineries and a number of villages rated as the “The Most Beautiful Villages Of Provence”, all within an easy days drive. The Mas itself has been extensively renovated with modern bathrooms and kitchen, air conditioning, central heating and a swimming pool. The property sits on approximately 10 acres of land with a garden featuring an ornamental lake, almond trees, olive orchard, lavendar fields and an assortment of fruit trees. The owner, Jutta, was delightful to deal with, as was the caretaker, Roger, who greeted us when we arrived at the property and was at hand if assistance was required. Overall, our experience at Mas St Claude was absolutely delightful and we will be returning next year.

Great location in very nice area

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mas St Claude. The location was perfect , the accomodation was outstanding; We enjoyed it a lot; Swimming pool and pont were better in reality than on the pictures on the website.

The area is alos lovely; nice little village of Eygalières at 2.5 Km distance from the Mas, with good bars, shops

Perfect Location for a Holiday in Provence

Our stay in this beautiful Provencal Mas St Claude was with a group of cycling friends and family. From the moment we drove down the driveway and saw the fountains in the lake it felt perfect. We certainly made the most of the wonderful gardens and swimming pool. Many hours were spent relaxing under the trees while the children swam in the pool and played in the small boat on the lake. The house was great for 2 groups of people with 2 separate bedroom areas. It is decorated in the Provencal style and colours with good quality furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of dishes, plates and glasses and 2 coffee machines. It was beautifully clean with good quality bathrooms, although 2 were a little small. Another thing we enjoyed was the many different seating areas outside for enjoying outdoor meals.

We found the area to be a perfect place to enjoy our early morning cycling with a few challenging hills and lots of little villages to visit on the way. Then after our riding there was the wonderful shops in St Remy de Provence to visit only 10 minutes away. We also tried out most of the wonderful restaurants in Eygalieres and stocked up our pantry from the lovely Epicerie.

I would highly recommend this picturesque Provencal Mas to any groups or families wanting a relaxing holiday in Provence. The owner Jutta was very easy to deal with by email from Australia and Rodger the Maintenance and Garden Manager was very friendly and helpful, although we did have a slight language problem but managed to understand each other eventually.

Many thanks Jutta, we would love to return one day.

Wunderschönes Haus mit sehr viel Charme und allem Komfort

Wir durften dieses wirklich wunderschöne Haus mit seinem riesigen pool als vierköpfige Familie mit 2 erwachsenen Töchtern und Hund für 2 Wochen genießen.

Das Anwesen ist die perfekte Kombination von provenzalischem Charme und Komfort. Wir haben uns besonders an dem riesengroßen Grundstück mit "eigenem" Lavendelfeld, Olivenhain, Mandelbäumen, Obstbäumen und dem wunderschönen See erfreut. Für Hundehalter ist das Grundstück nur zu empfehlen, wenn der Hund sich vorzugsweise nahe bei seiner Familie aufhält, da nichts eingezäunt ist und die Hecke zur Straße keinen wirklichen Schutz bietet.

Für Familien mit Kleinkindern sollte der See bedacht werden.

Für uns persönlich war das Anwesen aber perfekt!

Wir fanden alles sehr sauber und liebevoll dekoriert vor, die Besitzerin ist sehr sympathisch, hilfreich und unproblematisch und der Verwalter äusserst zuverlässig.

Die Lage des Hauses fanden wir perfekt, es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, umgeben von wunderschöner Natur, aber nicht in völliger Einsamkeit. Die Wege zum Einkaufen und für Ausflüge sind kurz und wir fanden es toll, in 5 Fußminuten eine "Schönheit der Provence", die Chapelle de Ste. Sixte, erreichen zu können.

Die Beschreibung und die Fotos sind eher eine Untertreibung, wir haben nur die Lounge-Möbel auf der Westterrasse vermisst.

Wir planen im nächsten Jahr wiederzukommen!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Provence

My husband and I just left this wonderful home this morning and hope to go back again next year. It is in the perfect location, only a few minutes from Saint Remy de Provence and right down the road from the picturesque town of Eygalieres. The home is bright with Provençal old Mas charm but with beautiful modern amenities. The owner Jutta is wonderful to deal with as well. Thanks for our stay!

Our "home" in Provence

We just arrived after spending a week in beautiful Mas Saint-Claude and hope to return with my family next year. Jutta, the owner, was most than helpful answering all our questions in a timely manner. She is a joy to deal with. The house is absolutely stunning. Beautifully decorated with a gorgeous kitchen and the most beautiful gardens we've ever seen. Spring is the perfect time of the year to watch the amands and the trees blooming. The weather was just perfect for visiting the beautiful medieval towns in Provence without the summer crowds. Many thanks, Jutta, for such a wonderful experience.
