A note for 2016 renters: Be aware. There currently is a house under construction behind this house. A good portion of the exterior work is complete, but there may be some construction noise during your stay.
From this newly remodeled home, head a few hundred feet down the street and through a secluded jungle path to Golden Beach on the Gulf. Or take a half-mile walk or ride to historic downtown Boca Grande.
The home was completely renovated and redesigned in 2013 and now includes luxurious amenities: flat-screen televisions, a gas Viking range, designer linens, custom furniture, and a shower whose three heads you can configure just the way you like.
The chef’s kitchen includes new professional-grade appliances, with a Viking gas range. The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, for more social living. The family room has a large flat-screen television and can close off from the rest of the house to reduce noise.
The master suite has a king-size bed, office area, and large, private bathroom. There is a second king-sized bed in a guest bedroom. The other guest bedroom has two twin beds. The two guest rooms can be closed off from the rest of the house to make a private sleeping suite. To sleep more than six, use the living room's pull-out couch. A crib also is available for children.
The house opens to a large screened in porch, with a dining table and comfortable sitting area. The porch overlooks a large, private back yard. The home is encircled with a solid Brazilian hardwood deck installed in 2011.
Covered parking and a circle drive make it easy to park your vehicles, boat, and trailers.
The house offers wireless internet and cable television to make your stay a comfortable one.
This spacious and private three-bedroom home is the perfect base for any kind of vacationer: Shop in Boca Grande's boutiques and galleries. Read and relax on the home’s comfortable porch or cross the street to the clean, wide, quiet beach. Public tennis courts and a children’s playground all are nearby. Walk to the community center to use the free fitness center or library or attend one of the many seminars, events, or shows.
Hunt for shells and fossilized sharks teeth on the beach. Swim approximately 100 yards directly offshore to Red Rocks reef for some of the island’s best scuba diving, snorkeling, and spearfishing or head a short distance north for world-class Megalodon tooth diving. Golf a new course every day of the week. Hire a local fishing charter or rent a flats boat and try your hand at harvesting oysters, trapping blue and stone crab, or catching redfish, snook, and sea trout in Charlotte Harbor.

This cottage is bright and cheery. It is centrally located between the town and the south end of the island. Leslie was so nice and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back next year.
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The location is great, the house is beautiful, everything was great. Very clean, had everything you will need for your stay, The house is very nicely updated, great kitchen and bathrooms. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone! May be back next 4th of July weekend as well! Thank you!
We had a great time - check-in/out was straight forward. The house was clean, nicely appointed, and the perfect lay-out for two couples. Highly recommend!
Perfect house for our family get together. Nicely renovated. Terrific gathering spaces and private areas. Had everything we needed. Would definitely rent again.
So many things, where do I begin! It was wonderful!
The kitchen and all other areas were clean--comfortable, very relaxing, and the open concept made it feel spacious and open.
Both bathrooms and the (HUGE!) kitchen were clean and newly remodeled.
Loved that there were plenty of things to cook with; utensils and pots and pans.
Very close to the beach for a nightly walk to see sunset, as well.
Only negatives were that the TV in the Guest bedroom didn't work.
Suggestions: It would be great to have some white cotton blankets on the bed (one of us really likes it cold in the house!), and white bed linens in all the rooms would make it even more clean feeling. And we should have bought plastic baggies (we totally forgot!)
Overall we were totally happy and would stay there again and again!
Thanks so much!
Wonderful property - great location. The house has a very attractive floor plan with two sleeping "wings" and a huge open area including a terrific kitchen, huge family room and living room. The large screened porch is very enjoyable whether for early morning coffee or enjoying a quiet reading spot or board games with the family. The location is terrific - close to the beach, close to town, tennis courts a block away - our grandkids love tooling around in the golf cart, especially going off to town for a ice cream treat!!! It's a great spot!!!! A repeat visit for us and we look forward to returning soon!!!
