About Property Manager
A lifer on Nantucket during summers since my childhood, and a mother of 3 children who also hope to one day own a home in Sconset. As a real-estate agent in the greater Boston area, Nantucket affords me the opporunity to get away for a night or, when work-permits, a true vacation. Our 3 dogs long for their summers in Sconset, as it is the perfect neighborhood for long walks where they encounter new friends every day.
Why Property Manager chose Siasconset
This house offers the unique luxury of a peaceful getaway when the island gets busy during the summer seasons, but also allows me to get to Town very quickly when needed. It is an extremely safe area where my kids grew up walking/biking everywhere, and there is a plethora of other kids in the neighborhood. It is only a quick walk away from the beach and is located in a beautiful town where the views of true Nantucket are unmatched.
What makes this House unique
This house is an easily accessible home that also allows me to get anywhere on the island via public transportation and also has more than enough to occupy your time within walking distance. Having a NRTA stop right outside our home allows me to make plans on a dime to go to town and allows me to avoid the task of having to find parking. It is also a few minute walk to the Siasconset Casino (a tennis club), which has tennis courts available to the public during select hours for a reasonable fee. Sconset Beach is a great place to walk the dogs or enjoy a day in the sun under the watch of a lifeguard. There are a handful of great dining locations accessible by walking, and they are truly romantic settings. A night spent at The Summer House watching the sunset over the beach is a world-class view. The Sconset Cafe is a favorite breakfast stop and their nightly seafood specials are unmatched. The Sconset Market has groceries as well as morning pastries, coffee, and an ice cream bar that is the perfect way to cap a night off after dinner. The Siacsonset Casino also shows movies in its ballroom on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights which range from kids movie to thrillers, and the Siasconset Casino also puts on an annual play that brings the community together for a night of remarkable fun.
