A privately-owned, fully-updated, lakefront, 2-story house (not a cabin) WITH GORGEOUS, UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS OF LAKE LANIER FROM BOTH THE HOUSE AND THE DECK THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, 2 separate family room areas, a kitchen, a pool room, a large screened-in porch, a deck and a dock located in the Overlook subdivision and on a deep-water cove in a quiet section of Lake Lanier (having less boat traffic than many other areas). The house has beautiful landscaping (numerous flowers, flowering trees and flowering shrubs), a fountain and gorgeous, expansive, unobstructed views of Lake Lanier year round from the kitchen, a first floor family room, the master bedroom, the screened-in porch, the deck, the back yard and the dock. It has direct access to the lake and a dock via a short walk over expansive, gently-sloping, golf course quality lawns (set up for a volleyball net). Comfortably sleeps 10-12 people in beds, and also has 2 couches and 2 full chaise lounges. The screened-in porch has top-quality wrought iron patio furniture and 2 tables with comfortable, large pillows, and can seat 15 people. The house is beautifully decorated with faux painting and top-of-the-line window treatments in most rooms, new Wesley Allen wrought iron beds in two bedrooms, a decorative carved wood king bed in the master bedroom, two sets of new wood full-over-full bunk beds (with four new full-sized pillow-top mattresses) in a 4th bedroom, a pool table in a separate pool room, two large, color televisions and a stereo system with Bose home entertainment speakers. Includes lots of parking on a long driveway and along the subdivision streets, a 2-car garage, cable TV, internet, granite kitchen countertops, Kohler toilettes in all bathrooms, wood and Travertine floors, a large stone fireplace, ceiling fans, a large free-standing ice maker (separate from the refrigerator/freezer), a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, a Keurig coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker, a full kitchen with all amenities and high-quality utensils, dishware, cookware and bake ware, a washer, a dryer, a stove, an oven, a microwave, air conditioning and electric heat. The house is very conveniently located about 1.5 miles from Georgia 400 in Dawsonville, about 1 mile from the Nix Bridge public boat ramp, and about 2 miles from the intersection of Georgia 400 and Highway 53, the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall (having about 140 outlet stores), several grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, other retail stores and a movie theater. It is also close to the Lake Lanier Islands water park, several different Georgia wineries (Wolf Mountain Vineyards, Frogtown Cellars, Three Sisters Vineyards, Montaluci, Blackstock Vineyards and others), a family fun center, a kangaroo refuge, the Northeast Mountains, many nature areas and other attractions, and has an easy access to Dahlonega (a tourist town about 20 minutes away), Helen (a tourist town about 35 minutes away), Cumming, Gainesville, Alpharetta, Buckhead and Atlanta, as well as Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (about 65 miles away). Towels and linens are provided.

To formally book this lake house, two adults (25 years of age or older) who would be present at the lake house throughout the duration of any rental period would need to execute a standard rental agreement that is employed for all rentals of this lake house, and also provide copies of their drivers licenses to the owners, as proper identification.

About the owner: This lake house is privately owned and managed by an intellectual property attorney and an electrical engineer who live in Johns Creek, Georgia, both graduated from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN), and have four children, three graduated from Georgia Tech (Atlanta, GA), and one a 4th year industrial engineering student at Georgia Tech. The attorney graduated from Marquette University Law School (Milwaukee, WI), and has been employed by Locke Lord LLP for 16 years. Prior to that, she worked for Abbott Laboratories (Waukegan, IL), G.D. Searle & Co. (Skokie, IL), and the law firm Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery (Chicago, IL). The engineer is employed by Gates Corporation. One of their children is an industrial engineer employed by the Chick-fil-A corporate headquarters (Atlanta, GA). Another child is a quality control supervisor for Tyco International (Lithia Springs, GA). A third child is a logistics specialist for Altria (Richmond, VA). The owners manage this property themselves and provide very personal service directly between the owners and their guests. They try to be available for all of their guests at all times, and they keep this lake house in a top condition.
