About Andrew Hughes
I am a Seattle attorney. This area holds a special place in my heart as both a University of Washington alumni and someone who has spent over a decade living and exploring Seattle and the the incredible Fremont neighborhood. I love the energy and diversity of the people and activities Fremont shares with all those who visit. Whether it is shopping and strolling through the many lovely Fremont shops, having a picnic in Gas Works Park or Woodland Park Zoo, browsing the Farmer's Market on every Sunday morning, taking a walk along Lake Union and down the Burke Gilman Trail on a beautiful summer day, or just sitting and relaxing at one of the countless local cafes or bars - there is always something to do, to taste, and always another reason to live and stay in the Fremont neighborhood. I hope you will join me so that I may share my love for this area, Seattle, and the State of Washington as a whole. Safe travels and I hope to see you soon.
Why Andrew Hughes chose Fremont
Located in Seattle’s fun and trendy Fremont neighborhood along Lake Union, this newly finished garden studio has everything you need in a location that cannot be beat. The property boasts a beautiful blend of traditional and modern design and the home is fit for print, having been featured in Pacific NW Magazine and Houzz. There is a reason Fremont is know in Seattle as “the center of the universe” as it truly is central to everything. The property is located an ideal distance from the University of Washington (1.4 miles) and Seattle Pacific University (1 mile) and just moments to Downtown Seattle by car, cab, or bus (4.1 miles). Right between the vibrant Wallingford and Ballard neighborhoods, Fremont is filled with cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs, and fine dining and all within walking distance from your VRBO doorstep. You’ll also find yourself blocks from the famous Fremont Troll, the year round Fremont Sunday Market, and the 27 mile long Burke Gilman Trail that runs from the Puget Sound to the wineries of Woodinville and which is one of the most popular paths to bike, run, or walk in Seattle. Gas Works Park – a Fourth of July mecca for fireworks – is just 10 minutes by foot. Whether exploring Fremont or going further afield for day trips, this property is the perfect place to start and finish your day during your upcoming Seattle stay.

This is our second stay at this property. It's location is fantastic. Easy access to neighborhood festivities and UW Graduation activities. The apartment is comfortable, clean and cute.
Good news: great location, clean, well equipped , comfortable studio. Bad news: lots of noise from upper tenants, parking inconvenient
This was such a cute and quaint place. It was convenient for walking, bike riding, or driving to everything. We loved being able to stroll down for food and snacks and then catch a ride to downtown Seattle. The troll under the bridge was such a fun surprise being just around the corner. We plan on coming back to stay. Andrew was quick to respond and very helpful with providing us ideas in advance. This is a must stay!
Amazing location! Charming, clean, cozy studio
We had a lovely time at this space. Despite being a studio, quite spacious. The fireplace is a lovely addition too. Clean, comfy, and private. Would definitely return!
Cozy and Perfect Fremont Location
My husband and I stayed for nine nights over the Christmas holiday. This was a perfect location. We didn't have a car and didn't miss it. The apartment is located near transit and if you like to walk the options are numerous for restaurants, shopping (including groceries), and movies. We explored Ballard, Wallingford, and Queen Anne, and Fremont. The apartment is a basement unit. But with great lighting, lots of white walls, and many reflective surfaces, we found it to be light and bright. The layout works well for a couple. The kitchen is set up with everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind before booking this apartment. It does have a fairly low ceiling in areas. My husband is 5'10" and did not have to duck anywhere but there were a couple of places it was close. So, if anyone in the party is over 6' tall, it may be uncomfortable.
Comfortable lodging in a prime location!
Fabulous accommodations with a prime location in Fremont. Walking distance to many activities and close to public transportation to get to other areas in Seattle. Appreciate the relaxing setup and the attention to details in this unit. Definitely will stay here again!
