Why Julie Stein chose Mammoth Mountain

We love Mammoth for winter sports and especially in the summer. We wanted a place that would really feel like we were getting away from the SoCal environment and feel like a true, luxurious escape. This place has better amenities than our regular house!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Julie, I wanted to compliment you on your very well appointed condo which more than mitigated the fact that the slopes and the roads were closed for most of our stay. Our children and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and sledding and your very well appointed kitchen made preparing meals for 7 an easy task. We would highly recommend your rental on the basis of proximity to the slopes and Mammoth Village as well as the abundance of Flat screens which diminished squabbles as we brought our Xboxes just in case of inclement weather. Thank you so much, Julie!

Clean, comfy and convenient.

  • 5 of 5

Julie was so accommodating, accepting our request to stay on the same day! Her place is just as described in the reviews. We had such a great time and the location was central to everything. We cooked "at home" and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. In fact, best stocked kitchen out of all the places we rented. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfectly located!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this condo! Lots of room, the bunk bed is brilliant!, and it was very clean and homey. Fully stocked with everything you might need. The location is just perfect. Excellent communication with the owner as well. And the water pressure in the showers was great! My daughter found a great sledding hill right across the street. Totally recommend.

Convenient, Clean, Decently Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Two couples, my aunt, and a two year old shared this condo over President's Day Weekend, and it was nice. The kitchen was well-appointed, the living room layout conducive to conversing and hanging out, and the heated tile floors in the bathroom a delight. The less than stellar components: the lower bunk bed was super squeaky/noisy, little things such as olive oil and paper towels were totally absent from the kitchen, and the basket of stuff for the fireplace contained exactly one fire's worth of kindling and fire starters. All of this is to say, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. I am awfully sorry that there were no paper towels - my housekeeper regularly puts them out and must have forgotten this time. We will make sure there is an ample supply of firestarters in the future. We are having the bed looked at based on this review and will address that immediately. Next time, please do not hesitate to call. I provide my number to all guests and can have any missing supplies dropped off, or repairs done if something is not satisfactory. We are glad you are planning to come again.

Great property

  • 5 of 5

This property was a great place to stay. It was very clean and cozy. The office personnel were very friendly and checking in was very easy. The covered parking was an outstanding plus. The location was perfect as it is in between the Village and Canyon Lodge. Julie made everything very simple. I would definitely stay there again.

Very adequate; more than expected

  • 5 of 5

The place was as advertised and more. The fireplace was well-stocked with wood. That was very nice.

Everything was clean and comfy. The heated floors in the bathrooms were very nice.
