Loved this place! Would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Owners were very kind and responsive. Big yard for our kids to play in. Everything was perfect! Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is perfect in every way. The location is on the bay, there is wildlife everywhere. The area is remote and quiet. The cottage has EVERY thing you could possibly need, down to air fresheners in the bath to coffee filters in the pantry!. It is spark;ing clean. Many sweet touches like little solar powered light in the yard and on the mantle. We relaxed there and had a nice kayak trip or two (you can launch from the back yard) as well as a white water rafting with a local company in Gladstone. A great visit.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. The cottage is a home away from home for us also. I am happy I can share this with you and any future renters. I will do what ever it takes to make your stay comfortable. And thank you for taking care of it as though it was your own. You are very clean and I can tell you take a lot of pride in your lodging. I hope you can make it back sometime. Maybe when the weather is a little better. JoAnne

Truly a place to relax.

  • 5 of 5

Gordy's Glory was perfect for us! It was clean, very well-outfitted, and just the right size for our family of four. We were able to take several day trips to Pictured Lakes (~1.5 hours), Iron Mountain (~1 hour), and even Mackinac Island (~2.5 hours plus ferry time). We always looked forward to our evenings back at the cottage. There were Sandhill Cranes in the yard daily, as well as geese, blue jays, and humming birds. The sound of the water from the bay was pure relaxation.

Beautiful and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at the cottage on Little Bay De Noc. It is a very comfortable cottage with everything that one would want (except for food and drink). We had cranes and geese in the front yard every day and each night as the sun was setting the chorus of frogs and night birds would start up. We did a few day trips and other times just walked down the road. Joanne was very easy to work with and we hope to return in the near future.

Everything Was Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I arrived a little later than anticipated due to some heavy rain. Everything was just as our host said it would be. The cabin is comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Had a great time to relax and enjoy. There were points of interest close enough for short day trips. Grilled out a couple nights, everything was in the cabin that was needed. Would I recommend this rental? You betcha Everything was perfect. Only concern, the address could be a little more visible from the road. Thanks for allowing this great opportunity.

Nice place - quiet and peaceful

  • 4 of 5

Stayed with a couple of old college buddies, quiet, peaceful, well-equipped. Owner represents place honestly. Enjoyed the grill and the fire ring in the evenings. A little close to neighbors for me, but they were nice and/or quiet.
