Loved this place! Would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Owners were very kind and responsive. Big yard for our kids to play in. Everything was perfect! Can't wait to go back!

The cottage is a great place to spend time and unwind. The Lake view is ever changing and the cranes that pass through are beautiful. Overall, time well spent.

Two Rivers,WI

Excellent, well equipped, immaculate, quiet.

  • 5 of 5

From the time we drove up, it was obvious this is a well kept place. Walking in is very impressive- exposed beams, floor to ceiling fireplace, VERY clean, no odors at all! Two decks to sit on, cranes to feed, and a host of other wildlife right outside the door. Will be back for sure! Great communication from the owner.

Very peaceful

  • 5 of 5

Gordy's Glory is lovely, quiet, peaceful, homey, and equipped with everything you could think of and then some. It is evident that the owner is very experienced and cares about her guests and her property. (I tried hosting a property once and it did not go well - I'm happy to leave it to experts like JoAnne.) Our daughter enjoyed the water and wildlife so much that she didn't want to leave. We hope to come again someday.

I hope you can make it back someday. JoAnne

Beautiful, relaxing, fun stay with family

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was a joy! We enjoyed the water daily.

JoAnne was responsive to all questions before and during our stay. The cottage is equipped nicely for a small family and has plenty of space.

We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets...daily visits from animals (i.e. sand hill cranes, deer, blue jays, ravens, muskrats, squirrels, and chipmunks). The weather was nice and we grilled almost daily overlooking the bay. We went to the lighthouse one day and enjoyed the beach and the overlook. This was a great place to stay! Thank you, JoAnne, for your hospitality.

The cottage is perfect in every way. The location is on the bay, there is wildlife everywhere. The area is remote and quiet. The cottage has EVERY thing you could possibly need, down to air fresheners in the bath to coffee filters in the pantry!. It is spark;ing clean. Many sweet touches like little solar powered light in the yard and on the mantle. We relaxed there and had a nice kayak trip or two (you can launch from the back yard) as well as a white water rafting with a local company in Gladstone. A great visit.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. The cottage is a home away from home for us also. I am happy I can share this with you and any future renters. I will do what ever it takes to make your stay comfortable. And thank you for taking care of it as though it was your own. You are very clean and I can tell you take a lot of pride in your lodging. I hope you can make it back sometime. Maybe when the weather is a little better. JoAnne
