Welcome to Hurrah in Seaside
(112 Savannah Street)
This beautiful three bedroom, two bath beach residence is one of the most unique beach cottages in Seaside. The best way to describe it is to think about it as a step back into a time when a cottage at the beach became the home of beautifully vivid vacation memories. Where families grew up and grew old together. Where the annual trip to the beach became like coming to your home away from home.
Hurrah is special right from the front porch, which is big enough for multiple seating areas as a dining and game table. Everyone in the family will want to spend lots of time here. Morning coffee. Nestled in a book in the afternoon. Sharing stories of the day’s adventures in the evening.
Step inside and you’ll be in the living room – with its two story ceiling and tall walls that showcase a variety of different pieces of art. In fact one of the most unique parts of this beach home is its folk are and artistically designed furniture. You’ll want to ask yourself where you can get some of these things for your home. Some of the art in this home isn’t just on the walls. They are the walls. Nancy Swan Drew is a talented artist from Michigan commissioned to make art the focal point of every room in this wonderful beach home. The main living area also has a large flat screen TV, an adjacent dining area for 6, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Over the main living area is a reading loft. Take the ladder up to the loft to get away from the busy-ness of the beach and enjoy some peace and quiet from your perch here.
Toward the back of the first floor is a kid friendly suite with twin beds and a full bath.
Upstairs is the MASTER SUITE with a QUEEN bed and a private bath. The hallway leads to the 2nd floor deck.
The hallway also leads to a walkway to a unique and private living quarters that is perfect for teens or children. This unique living space has 4 built-in bunk beds and a 3rd floor living room. Your children will claim it immediately. The first floor to this building contains washer and dryer, a small refrigerator, and half bath that opens to the outdoor shower.
Hurrah is convenient to Seaside Swim & Tennis Fitness Center, pools and croquet field and only a 3 minute walk to the beach.
You are going to love your vacation here. Come join us this.
A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT MAKES SEASIDE A SPECIAL VACATION EXPERIENCE
The idea behind Seaside came from 1946, when the grandfather of future founder Robert S. Davis bought 80 acres of land along the shore of Northwest Florida as a summer retreat for his family. In 1979 Davis inherited the parcel from his grandfather, and aimed to transform it into an old-fashioned beach town, with traditional wood-framed cottages of the Florida Panhandle.
Three decades ago the town of Seaside was established. And that is part of the magic of Seaside. It is a town. A Florida beach town. It is charming, graceful, eclectic, authentic, romantic. But Seaside isn't just a resort town. It’s a place where family and friends can connect with one another and with the beauty that abounds in this special corner of the world.
Seaside is not a cookie cutter beach resort. There are pools and tennis courts and other beach resort amenities, but Seaside is much more. It is a unique experience that not only changes the way a vacation is experienced, it changes the way a life is experienced.
