Why Owner chose Casco
We chose to build here because of the beauty and uniqueness of the property. We have always enjoyed vacationing at the lodges in several of our National Parks, and designed Turkey Hollow to create a similar experience. It is within easy walking distance of Lake Michigan beaches, within biking distance of downtown South Haven, yet is surrounded by woods and wildlife. A perfect vacation getaway.
What makes this House unique
Short walk to public beach, a bike ride from downtown, and privacy and nature when you want it. New this year is a nature / exercise trail on the property.

All the special touches were appreciated, lights on, music playing , fall table cloth on the table.
The photographs are great representation of the home. Although it was cold , the front porch was amazing and the walk to the beach was enjoyable . Great family meeting place for fun and relaxation.
👍 Loved it
House is very well maintained and clean. The interior design is nicer than the pictures indicate. Short drive to town which was fine as it was quiet at Turkey Hollow. Marc made the arrival welcoming with the lights on and soft music playing. Pretty cool to have the deer come out to edge of grounds while barbecuing.
Perfect getaway. Beautiful, comfortable, private setting. I could live in this house!
It was my first visit to South Haven. We loved the town and our home away from home. It was private, very clean, a homey atmosphere and loved seeing the deer in the morning and the black squirrels.
We would stay at Turkey Hollow again.
Wonderful Labor Day weekend at Turkey Hollow
My husband and I plus our son, daughter, their spouses, one 17 month old grandchild, and one dog just returned from spending Labor Day weekend here. The home is beautiful and well-appointed. It is a leisurely 10 min. walk to the beach which is fantastic. We all agreed that it is a place that we would like to return to in the future.
A wonderful secluded getaway
Absolutely loved our vacation at this lovely appointed house in the woods! We enjoyed going to the beach every day (an easy 10 minute stroll). The wooded, secluded location provided daily exposure to deer, squirrels, beavers, and birds. Beautiful downtown South Haven was barely a 5 minute drive away. At the house, we spent almost all of our waking hours on the large, comfortable screened-in porch. Mark, the owner, was friendly and responsive to any questions. There were plenty of helpful notes on things to do, attractions, and places to eat in the area. We loved this property and hope to rent again in the future.
The house was beautiful, nearly perfect. The surroundings were very nice.
Wonderful place. Only negatives were: nearby construction meant we woke each weekday morning to the sound of hammering; WiFi was weak to the point of being nearly useless; the beach was further away than we expected (and tiny).
Biking, hiking or snowmobiling on Kal-Haven Trail. Fruit picking (in season - blueberries, strawberries, rasberries, blackberries, apples, etc.)
