Modern log cabin on a hill overlooking open fields with a duck pond, fishing pond, and abundant wildlife. The property has trails winding through the forest, field, over the river and around the ponds. Abundant nature and wildlife for viewing. The trails are ideal for mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing. One mile from 57,000 acres of public land with ORV trails. The newly renovated cabin has electric heat, wood stove (firewood provided), and modern fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the covered porch and open deck for stargazing (maybe Northern Lights), nature viewing, and relaxing. Sit by the campfire, listen to the quiet, and build memories. Group camping available for family reunions and retreats. In the fall enjoy the fall colors or go hunting. Enjoy the cabin in all seasons. The Upper Peninsula is known for recreation and many day trips are available to see Lake Michigan or Lake Superior and sights between.

There are six hunting blinds on the property and a food plot. Turkey, duck, and geese are abundant at Orchard Hill and bear hunting is also available. Orchard Hill is within one mile of 57,000 acres of public land for additional hunting.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
200 acres of a nature area all to yourself with trails through the woods and fields for walking, biking, and many types of ORV's. ATV rentals available nearby. Wildlife viewing includes an eagle's nest, deer, sandhill cranes, turkeys, coyotes, waterfowl, and possibly a bear or wolf. Wildflowers are abundant as are mushrooms for mushroom hunters. The river is a known trout stream and the two ponds on the property are great for waterfowl hunting and one pond is stocked with panfish. Charter fishing is available on Lake Michigan or try one of the rivers or lakes for canoeing or kayaking. Nearby are 37,000 acres of public state land for recreation. Also, a short drive away is a county park with a sand beach on Lake Michigan. If you like waterfalls, the Upper Peninsula is home to over 100 waterfalls. In the evening you may enjoy stargazing or watching the meteor showers in August while sitting around the outdoor fire pit. Listen to the spring peepers or the cries of a distant coyote. In the fall take in the fall colors and take a drive around the Upper Peninsula for some of the best autumn views in the country. Enjoy the apples in the orchard or take a drive to one of the farmer's markets or commercial orchard. The cabin is located in one of the highest deer population areas in the Upper Peninsula. 5 hunting blinds are on the property as well as a food plot. Turkey hunting in both spring and fall are available. Small bird and waterfowl hunting are also possibilities. Winter is a great time for snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, or driving to one of many downhill slopes. The cabin comes stocked with a Christmas tree if you stay for the holidays. Also, popular are the waterfalls in the winter for viewing and climbing. Other area attractions include championship golf courses, casinos, great restaurants, and many day trip possibilities. Lake Superior to the North and Lake Michigan minutes away with many lakes between and tourist attractions.
