Older condo. Not quite as nice as what the pictures appeared to be.

Let me first say my OCD was in overdrive....and yes I could've called and had these issues addressed, but we sucked it up and enjoyed our stay. The condo is for sale and we were called 2-3 times about showing the condo to realtors. They told us we could say no...and we did, but I found it surprising they would ask. When we arrived, there were old soap shavings in the shower drain and food on the microwave plate. An email said that couch sheets would be left on the washing machine in a bag, which were not. There wasn't a whole bunch of towels to go around for our two families. These are all minor issues that we had. You have to pay for guest passes if you lose them...we had a member that had to leave suddenly and took off with the pass, so guess we'll be paying for that. Overall we were just there to sleep and get ready....it did the job.

Nice for Boaters!

  • 3 of 5

The only problem we had was parking. They do not have enough so one night we had no where to park so we pulled near and out of the way of everywhere, but they had us towed. And they could of just asked us to move. Very disappointed in that. They should have us check our cars in with manager so he can contact us and not give out more passes than parking spots as they did.

We had the best week despite the rain...

The Condo was great! We got to kayak in the Bayou behind us and the Dolphins came up to greet us! The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was the public beach access was closed for renovations (which was beyond anyone;s control). We figured out the access through the side of the Admiral's Quarters and we were set! We also made the best of a rainy day by setting up our cornhole board in the parking area below the condo and had fun there! I highly recommend this condo and we will be returning!

Not our best experience with VRBO

  • 1 of 5

Very bare essentials! Bring your own hair dryer, and everything else! Wifi never worked no matter who we called, different passwords, cellphones, computers, maintenance man, and property company we asked. Only worked for the maintenance man when he came and no else around to see. If you plan on being here any more than a day or two and will cook then bring your own dish soap and seasonings too. It is clean but that is it. Don't look for more than that. Will spend more next time. You are definitely getting what you pay for. Next to nothing.

Owner's Response: We are unsure who this person is as it is not the name on the reservation. However, yes there is a starter pack in the condo of items but food is not provided. Also, we did have one guest during the summer say the wifi was not working. Maintenance went out and it worked. The guests were not there and would not return a call so a detailed message on how to use it was left. Guests prior thereto and after have been able to use it. We are glad this person thought it was clean
