Our Daytona Beach condo has a SPECTACULAR view of the Atlantic Ocean and the sandy white beaches of the “World Famous” Daytona Beach. It can be seen from the first moment you enter the condo. Enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic with a cup of coffee from your own private balcony on the 10th Floor. Then, after a leisurely day on the beach, enjoy a cool drink and watch the Sunset over the Halifax River from the other side of the private balcony. The sunset can also be seen from the guest bedroom. We offer our guests beautiful panoramic views of both the ocean and the river from the private balcony. At night, the lights from the bridges over the river as well as the passing boats are gorgeous.

The spectacular ocean views continue from the spacious Master Suite.

This unit is a PRIVATE end unit with a split bedroom plan. NEW RENOVATION was just completed in the kitchen with NEW cabinets and NEW appliances for our guests to enjoy. We have NEW flooring through out the condo, as well as NEW carpeting in both bedrooms. Towels, sheets, comforters and even pillows, are constantly replaced throughout the condo to make sure that each and every one of our guests have a clean and comfortable home while staying as our guests. Even though we employ a cleaning service, at least once every other month we travel to the condo to do a thorough cleaning in nooks and crannies that are sometimes over looked.This attention to detail makes this condo one of the cleanest available.

Located just 8 miles from the Daytona International Airport, 10 minutes to the Daytona International Speedway, 8 minutes to Main street and the boardwalk,and about an hours drive to Disney, Universal, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center and more.

The condo is fully furnished with a spacious and fully stocked kitchen. There is a king size bed in the master suite with 2 twins in the guest room that can be pushed together if necessary to form a king bed. The living room also has a pull out sofa bed, so the condo can sleep 6 comfortably. Free high speed wireless internet is available. The condo has a full size washer and dryer in the laundry room. All linens, including beach towels, hair dryers, ironing board and start up supply of soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are provided . The condo also has a PS2 system and games, 3 TVs, DVD players, fishing poles and gear, sand toys, books, magazines, puzzles, movies, board games, beach chairs and beach umbrella, cooler and a beach cart as well as boogie boards and floats for use while you stay as our guests.

It is a secure building with a private underground parking garage. ( no sand on the cars) Keys are needed for access to the building as well as the garage. There is a property manager on site. We have a large heated , oceanfront pool as well as a hot tub.(The pool does not allow any infants in diapers, or swimmies per health code regulations) A private, oceanfront picnic area is also provided for the use of our guests. Here you can BBQ on the gas grill while over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Picnic tables are also provided in the picnic area There are 2 saunas as well as a fitness room. The condo is located on the 10th floor and is an end unit, so the views are unobstructed and spectacular. You have a view of the ocean from the kitchen, living room and also the master bedroom. The guest room has a beautiful view of the Halifax River. One side of the large private balcony over looks the ocean for spectacular sunrises, while the other side looks out over the river for stunning sunsets.

About Donna Modjeski

Hello there. My name is Donna. My husband Mark and I are the owners of this condo since February 2011. We take great pride in making sure that it is well maintained, clean, well stocked and perfect for each and every one of our guests. We renovate and update the condo quite often. We have just installed NEW kitchen cabinets and NEW appliances. Recent updates also include NEW flooring throughout the condo as well as NEW carpeting in both bedrooms. We have put some new living room furniture, new paint and constantly add new towels, new pillows and new comforters throughout the unit as needed. We take time to make sure that our condo is clean, pleasantly decorated, full of amenities and ready for each guest so that their vacation in our condo at the Sand Dollar Condominiums is a memorable one.

I am a timeshare owner that was going to rent from Donna but my own place became available. I want to say that she was very easy to work with and understanding of my desire to cancel. The listing she has is so thorough that I aspire to become a high quality host like her. The extras she has in the rental such as beach cart and cooler and umbrella were a top notch addition to the property. Most places don't have such things like the boogie board to use. I would recommend her as she is truthful and extremely helpful. Thank you!!

Great Experience

We have been vacationing in beautiful Daytona Beach Shores for many years. Our experience with Donna and Mark’s condo was great.

Donna goes above and beyond to do her best to help insure that the rental process is easy and that your stay will be comfortable and trouble free.

The condo has a great layout. Very comfortable and nicely decorated making you feel like you are at home away from home. We loved the corner unit and the balcony that has amazing views of the beach and the Halifax River. Parking in the underground, secure garage was very nice. It is in a great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and a new Publix grocery store within walking distance.

We will not hesitate to stay again and am confident your stay will be an enjoyable one.

Thanks Donna and Mark for all you did to make our stay so enjoyable. We really didn't need anything because the condo had everything for the beach, video games, movies, books, etc. We just needed groceries and our suitcases. Thanks again for your hospitality.

clean property, enjoyed our visit

we enjoyed our 7 days in Daytona Beach Shores at the Sand Dollar, Unit 1005. Unit was clean, the only down side was when we locked our keys in the unit there was a $50 charge to have the maintenance guy let us in. He was very professional and polite, the manager the following day (awaiting our payment) was not so professional when my boyfriend stated he has never as a guest whether in hotel or condo has ever had to pay to get help. When he stated he wouldn't be back the manger's response was "don't come back". As a manager you would think they would be more professional when dealing with a guest. I am a leukemia survivor and was having some health issues that evening when I LEFT the keys in the unit. That experience was stressful. As for dealing with owners of the condo they have my utmost respect, very kind hearted, on top of all information we needed prior to our vacation, everything went very smooth in regards to renting their unit. Owner's Response: My apologies to our guests if the office manager was not very professional in dealing with this situation. She has been at the Sand Dollar building as the office manager for over 10 years and usually deals very well with all of the guests.If any guests lock themselves out of their condo during regular 8 - 5 business hours, our maintenance personal or office manager are happy to go and unlock the door to their condo at no charge. This lockout was unfortunately at 9:30 in the evening when the office manager had already left the building and maintenance was done for the day. The service fee is only for emergency lockouts after 5 P.M. It is a courtesy so guests do not have to call a lock smith that could cost them hundreds of dollars for a service call late in the evening. While the lockout fee is for after hour emergencies only, our office manager should have handled it with a professional attitude when speaking to the guests the following morning. My apologies again to our guests for any unprofessional comments that our office manager may have made to them and we hope to welcome them back to the condo again one day in the future. Donna

Wonderful home

We loved this condo! The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. They have just about everything you could need in the kitchen, lots of books, games, toys for the beach, etc. Donna is wonderful to work with and makes sure you are ready to hit the beach when you get there!

During the busy rental seasons of Spring Break and Summer, we rent the condo from Saturday to Saturday. Minimum booking is 7 nights during those seasons.

The Service Fee that you see listed is not a fee for our condo. Homeaway and the VRBO vacation rental sites have started to charge a service fee to all guests that book a condo through this site when using a credit card. This fee is not controlled by us, the home owners. It will be listed in your quote from them when you go to pay if you have decided on a condo to rent and go to use a credit card with the “Book It” button.
