About John Glader
This townhouse is my winter camp. I love to play hockey and ski. There is a indoor ice rink a couple blocks away and I can also jump on the free ski bus and be on the mountain in 15 minutes. I am a 65 year old guy of nordic heritage so there is ice in my blood anyway. The rest of the year I live at Glacier National Park, so if you have any questions about the park I can point you in the right direction. The Flathead Valley has been my home for 45 years so I know the endless possibilities for having a fun in this beautiful place.
John Glader purchased this Townhome in 2010
Why John Glader chose Whitefish
Central location for easy access to downtown, ski area, and Whitefish Lake and public beach. Also walking distance to dining, pubs, micro-brew and distillery. The Glacier Park entrance is an easy drive on Hwy. #2 . There is a free ski bus at the end of the block. Quiet, friendly, low traffic and safe neighborhood. Locals use this area for walking kids, dogs and biking, exercise walking and jogging. This place is in town but buffered by a walking trail park and wildlife conservation acreage. Deer walk around like pets in the neighborhood. There is a wooded nature walk a block or so away great little walk for kids or a peaceful romantic stroll. Take a short walk to Whitefish Lake Lodge and enjoy food or a cocktail overlooking Whitefish Lake.
What makes this Townhome unique
There is a wildlife conservation area around the corner so you will see deer, song birds, and pheasants in the neighborhood. This is the neighborhood the locals come to to jog, walk, exercise dogs, and stroll with small children. A very safe family friendly area that is watched closely by the neighbors. You are also easy walk from fine dining or great bar-b-que a mile towards town. A very pleasant one mile walk to town on Colorado Ave. that has sidewalks and antique street lamps for a very safe stroll. Very light traffic day and night.

Clean, well equipped property.
Clean, well equipped property. Location is very convenient to most all of what we wanted to do while vacationing in this area.
There was an issue with our deposit but we were able to work it out with the owner.
Very convenient to downtown Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Comfortable and clean!
Very nice accommodations- John even came by to make sure all was in order. Highly recommend. No a/c but it really wasn't needed - kept house dark all day while we were out. Close proximity to everything. Very clean!
John Gladder (the owner) is very helpful and attentive.
This is a duplex that nicely accommodates 3 couples. VRBO did not provide us any instructions , like address of the house, door code, etc. So I contacted the owner a few times and he was helpful in every possible way.
Nice townhouse, very convenient to downtown Whitefish
Completely enjoyed the stay! Just a couple of minutes from Whitefish by car. Enjoyed the Farmers Market, music, downtown restaurants, shops, and bike rentals. Whitefish is a very nice town and vacation destination. In the Townhouse, was very pleased with the size of the Master Bedroom and closet. Plenty of room to put away clothes in the dresser, store suitcases, hiking gear, and to hang clothes. Appreciated the washer and dryer. No surprises, everything worked great and we had a fantastic vacation!
Beautiful, new townhouse with lots of space. Cheaper than a hotel with two families.
This is my first time booking through VRBO and it went very well. Great location, clean, new home. Everything listed on the website was what was offered. Easy to make payment and easy to check out of home. John was very accommodating with extra beds as we thought we had more than the original 5 people. I did see one review that the dogs barking next door was annoying but they did not bark when we were there. It was a very quiet neighbourhood. Would stay again. Thanks John.
The house had everything we needed for four adults and a toddler. It was very clean. John returned the deposit promptly. Two thumbs up!!!
Located one mile north of Whitefish village center. Whitefish Mountain ski resort just up the road with free ski bus stop a couple blocks away. The City Beach on Whitefish lake is close by and great restaurants, pubs and micro brew and distilry within walking distance. There are lighted bike- walk paths to town and a wooded walking park on the north edge of the neighborhood and nature conservancy on the east border of the neighborhood.
We are 30 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National Park.
