Beautiful townhouse.

Property was very nice and very clean. Our family appreciated the updated bathrooms and beautiful kitchen. Our trip was cut short by the mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Irma. The staff at Hilton Head Vacations were excellent at making sure we knew what to do to evacuate, which I really appreciated. We would love to come back again. Thanks!

Awesome relaxing stay.

  • 4 of 5

Lots of room, clean, and with lots of dishes. The upstairs was a little warmer which is not uncommon, the upstairs bath didn’t drain well, and it is a little further from the beach than I would have liked but not to bad. Overall I’d say it was great and met my expectations.

Home was great, disappointed with service

  • 2 of 5

We arrived early evening the first night of our stay and the home had not been cleaned. Bathrooms were dirty, floor was not vacuumed, and used towels and sheets were on the floor meaning we could not even make our own beds and we had a tired 18-month-old with us. This is the last thing you want after spending all day traveling in the car! After contacting the rental company they finally sent someone out to clean later that night but they could not get through the gate. So someone from our party drove to the gate and at least got clean linens. Then very early the next morning the maid walks in without knocking and wakes up one of our party who was sleeping on the couch. Everyone was still asleep! We still enjoyed our stay and had a great time at the beach but I would not choose this company again. I tried contacting them about getting some sort of a refund for our trouble but I never even got a response.

Comfortable and clean hideaway after a day at the beach..:

  • 4 of 5

We LOVED Hilton Head! It was our first time here and can't wait to return! Shipyard was a nice place to go to after a long day of activities to replenish. Despite having trouble finding the unit, the gatehouse employees were very kind and patient in helping us out. Our group of ten felt like there was enough space for all. It was great that each bedroom had a tv and DVD player, so that we could have our own getaway from the big group. The way the units are set up in Shipyard gives great privacy. Each condo has a private entry through a courtyard. The backside of the unit looks out onto the golf course, so it is more exposed. The beach access for Shipyard is great. We had so much fun watching the kids playing in the sand and waves! The beds were comfortable and the way the kids room was set up was great for our group of rascals.

With all that is great about this place I feel like I need to point out some things that were negative to keep the review balanced. First, the master bath on the main floor is somewhat dated. The tub is peach colored. Second, we would of loved to find a cheese grater. We are foodies, so cooking good meals is important. We don't buy pre-grated cheese and we're at a loss when making our meal with whole block. Finally, we never did find the pool. We looked in the book but didn't see it marked on the map. I know we could've called the office for directions, but we had more fun in the ocean. With the pictures of the pool on this listing however, you'd think it was fairly close-by. These were very minor things though because overall, we had a wonderful time! W

Our vacation to Hilton Head this summer was amazing! From the people to the food, we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our week:) The condo itself was extremely cozy and wonderfully decorated. All the essentials were there to make our family feel at home. It was a major plus that we all had our own bathroom too! But the one thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars was the note left behind and the bathroom downstairs. We were advised about some stains/odors within in the carpet, and told that there were two bottles of Spot Shot and a Bissell carpet cleaner in the closet for us to use if we wanted to clean it. The note also listed an apology about the plumbing and that someone would be there to fix it. We checked in from 7/1/17 to 7/8/17...but no one came until 7/6/17 so my grandmother had to try and sleep with the toilet constantly running throughout the day and night. This hold no bearing on the area, the owners, or even the condo as a whole since we truly did enjoy our stay, but for the property manager to then expect the vacationing family to finish what should have been completed before our arrival was not very ideal. To the owner, my family and I thank you from the bottom of our heart for allowing us to enjoy our first trip together with many more to come!:)

My wife and 2 other couples stayed here for a long weekend. This was one of the nicest places I've stayed in Hilton Head. The decor is classy and tame compared to most beach condo rentals. If you like seashell and nautical theme Pier 1 junk with closeout stickers on the bottom then this place is not for you. Each bedroom has a bathroom. We all loved the location as Shipyard is pretty central to everything on the island. The pool is just across the parking lot and the beach is a short walk or bike ride. Golf and wildlife are steps away. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended!
