Breakfast on the lanai watching the sun lighting up Waikiki beach is amazing; likewise dinner at 7 on the lanai watching the sun go down on the beach is so relaxing. The beach is 100' in front of the condo. Don't want to go the the beach...try the lovely private pool, used only by the residents. Fireworks on Friday nights is a special time. The lanai glass door open and the large window bring the cool mountain tradewinds into the living room and can be left open all the time as we are on the 16th floor. Cheeseburger In Paradise is directly below the condo...the Kahlua pork is excellent. Duke's on the beach is a great place to eat and enjoy a patio dinner. The Cheesecake Factory is 4 or 5 blks away '''dessert' is a must there. Need a rest before evening, head back to the condo for a leisurely afternoon. Waikiki at night is especially beautiful.

Wow what a great condo.The view from bedroom and balcony is amazing,thats what drew me to 1603 in the first place.Its a huge space and having the separate bedroom is ideal.Everything is provided from towels and kitchenware to beach chairs.The apartment block is so secure i never felt scared coming in as theres always a security person to greet you.The pool is sparkling clean and having a carspace is pretty rare in Waikiki.Rob is fantastic to deal with from day one and this gives you peace of mind when booking online.Cannot recommend 1603 highly enough and look forward to returning one day.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
I stayed there the entire month of June and enjoyed every day waking up to beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean from the 16th floor. The unit was spacious and comfortable with plenty of towels and linens, even some beach chairs and boogie boards. The kitchen had everything you could want and we cooked quite a few meals even though the best restaurants are within walking distance. Cheeseburgers in Paradise was being completely remodeled downstairs so I didn't get to eat there but I'm sure it will be great when finished. The covered parking space was fantastic and the entire building was secured with onsite security guards that were very friendly. Safe swimming areas are right across the street and the famous Waikiki beaches with every water activity you could want is a 2 minute walk. The property manager who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful, and the owners called to make sure all was OK during the stay. I would rent this wonderful condo again if I have a chance. On a very minimal note I hope there would be a new mattress and blinds in the bedroom since both were past their prime. If you want a great Waikiki experience then this is the place for you!
Paradise in Waikiki.
This was a facility that gave us everything that we had hoped for and more. It really is a perfect location and the views from the large lanai off the lounge and the bedroom were about as good as it gets. The generous accommodation was clean, well equiped and comfortable. The owners were great to deal with.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.Indeed I sincerelly hope to be able to return there in 2015 even though it is 17 hours from the UK.
We have been to Waikiki many times and stayed many different places. This location was excellent. We spent every breakfast on the patio, enjoying the view. Actually spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the sunsets. Everything that was described on the reviews were accurate. Loved the salt water pool. I wish the properties in Foster Towers could be rented starting for 2 plus weeks. But more power to you if you can rent monthly. Hopefully we will be able to come again and stay in the Foster Towers.
We stayed in this huge one bedroom unit for 30 days. We also had a parking stall which is a must if you are going to stay in Waikiki area. This unit was beautifully done and the kitchen and bathroom vanity were both recently remodeled. The lani (balcony) was the best place to watch the beautiful sunset each evening. There is a nice outdoor bar with tall stools and a table and chairs. The air conditioners cooled the condo perfectly.Great communication with the owner and he went out of his way for us. We have stayed in this building many times over the past 25 years. It is a great secured building right across from the beach. Within walking distance to lots of fun and activities. Perfect unit to stay in for a relaxing and quiet vacation!
Awesome Condo - Million Dollar View !!!
My wife and I stayed for the month of March 2012.This condo is large, bright and airy and the large lanai with it's million dollar view of Waikiki beach and the Pacific Ocean is in a word "awesome"!! In Hawaii we would normally go out for dinners every night, but this year we brought dinner in and enjoyed dinner with drinks and the view on this private lanai on many occasions.
The kitchen with granite counters, full size appliances, quiet dishwasher and lots of dishes and cookware was a treat. The icemaker never ran out!! The bedroom / bathroom area is completely separate from the LR/DR/KIT and provides additional privacy. The bedroom is spacious with lots of bedding. Towels are provided and the beach chairs and umbrella were a bonus. Parking in Waikiki is expensive so the parking space included with this condo was handy and a big saving for times when we rented a car.
The Foster Tower Is a great building with controlled access, 24 hour security, internet access/cable TV and a large salt water pool. Dealing with owner Rob was a pleasure! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 1603, would recommend it to others and would definitely like to return!
