Wonderful!

It was our second stay At The Beach and we had a wonderful time. The apartment met our needs and we love how close we are to the beach! Jim and Aleksandra are welcoming and willing to help with anything you need.

Short walk to the beach

  • 5 of 5

The apartments are very close and a short walk to to the beach. My family of four stayed in unit 2 and we were comfortable during our stay. No complaints.

Close to beach

  • 4 of 5

Literally 1 minute walk to beach. Apartment was clean and well appointed. My only compaint would be that we were told to keep the fobs for the gate to the beach were to be kept dry by placing in a zip-lock bag which we did. after leaving jim said one of the fobs didn't work but it never got wet. So check your fob before leaving in front of jim so this does not happen to you.

The fob costs $95. Kitchen counter space was limited.

Owner's Response: We always try to check the fobs before guests leave in their presence so there no surprises. My wife found the fob outside the morning of their departure which had evidently been there over night. She placed it over their door knob the morning they were leaving. Unfortunately, when the fobs are left outside they will get wet and will not work. My wife ask the guests to not leave without checking the fobs, however they did not call us before they left.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here. It was steps from the beach, tastefully decorated, and the beds were super comfortable. The owner was on site to meet us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The beach is one of the most beautiful I've been too.

Close to beautiful beach. Clean and comfortable.

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay and loved being next to the gate to siesta key beach. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and welcoming. The manager is friendly and helpful. The reason for four stars was the small kitchen that wasn't well stocked without an oven or measuring spoons. We like to cook and eat.

Owner's Response: Please note that all our pictures are comprehensive and current so you know in advance exactly what you are getting. In our welcome email this is what we tell our guests "We do not operate as a hotel, rather a turn-key furnished apartments. You should find everything you need and if you need something we missed all you have to do is ask." We appreciate our guests reviews because it gives us guidance to fix or change things to make every guests stay as great as possible. If guests do not tell us what they need, we cannot try to accommodate them. If I had know that the measuring spoons had gone missing I would have driven to Bed Bath and Beyond 10 minutes away and bought them. We immediately checked the unit and the kitchenaid measuring spoons were in the unit. Things we cannot do it make the kitchen bigger when there is no physical way to do that. Our detailed current pictures shows our guests exactly what they are getting before they decide to book accommodations with AT THE BEACH. Our kitchen does have a countertop convection oven, a microwave, 4 burner cooktop, full size 2 year old refrigerator freezer, all ceramic lined cookware, superb coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, Weber gas bbq grill just for this unit and Mikasa dishes.

Sarasota is the leading cultural center of Florida, its rich arts scene rivals some of the biggest urban centers in the country. With dozens of performing arts venues, renowned opera, theatre and ballet companies, numerous art museums, a thriving visual arts community and art festivals that draw visitors from across the globe, it's easy to understand why people come to Sarasota for art vacations instead of beach getaways. Thankfully, the two are not mutually exclusive.

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Housed on the site of the circus magnate's former estate on the shore of Sarasota Bay, the museum hosts one of the largest collections of Rubens canvasses in the world, along with many other works by Old Masters. But that's only the beginning of the Ringling legacy. You can also tour Ca d'Zan Mansion, a magnificent 56-room Venetian Gothic palace that served as the Ringling's residence also see the restored

Historic Asolo Theater -- built in Italy in the late 1800s,
